Yay, im not the only one who has shot himself with his own arrow anymore in Norway! Read in the news someone had managed to do it as well
Carbon fiber arrow exploded when I was shooting with my compound, tearing up most of the area around my thumb, leaving tons of carbon fiber in the wound. The doc was pretty confused when he saw the wound and I explained what happened as archery is pretty rare over here.

Ouch, that sounds painful. Worst thing I'e ever done was cut my knee open right down to the bone, had a huge adrenaline rush and felt nothing. I got up and was about to carry on playing football (soccer) until somebody pointed it out to me.

someone explain the difference (or benefits of either), (prolly serp) between high bar squat and lower bar squat.
i have a general notion and i tried low bar today, wasn't sure if i was bending forward to much, but all weight seemed to fall on my heels a lot better.

HIGH BAR SQUATS
- Beneficial for olympic lifting because the strength carries over to the front squat and helps with the 2 oly lifts
- More quad recruitment
LOW BAR SQUATS
- You can use more weight because more muscles are involved, the glutes and hamstrings are more involved than in the high bar squat
- strength does not carry over very well to the front squat or oly lifts
If you are olympic lifting then use the high bar squat
If you are powerlifting then use the low bar squat
If you are a bodybuilder then chose which ever one u like better.
Taken from another post on the forum, but seems to be spot on from what i've read.

I would, but I think it's likely that broad is tougher than me. Kind of like that recent Beyonce picture, cameras can capture us all at the most unaesthetic millisecond.
I know I don't like it when people are watching me do a set of widow-makers, just because I know my facial expressions can start to get ridiculous.
Not saying I disapprove of crossfit mockery, some of the practitioners can get a little goofy.
Edit: I am also not sure what she is doing. Front squats?
Kinda looks like she is going down with the ship.

I can't figure out where to put it for low bar. How the hell do you know how low to go? "Until it feels like my wrists are about to break" is the best I've been able to do so far.
