Why do some people on bbing forums post few if any pics of themselves? Some don't post nothing at all. Interesting that you're on a bbing forum yet never post pics? Why won't you?

It's a good question, and a fair one, I guess.
In my case, I just don't feel compelled to - if that helps at all, haha. I equally respect those that do, and those that don't. It's a personal choice, like any other (that isn't life and death or whatever).
Most of all, I consider this a place to learn and discuss. And sometimes, now that I know a bit more, I'll provide a bit of guidance... or try to. But I know some folks see the site differently, and that's cool too.
Just for the record, if tomorrow it was decreed that no-one could become (or remain) a site member without posting photos of themselves? Well, I'd pack dem bags and leave; no fuss. It would be a shame though.

this
or this
Seriously, some people just want privacy/anonymity.
It's a BBing site, so what I personally don't get is the profile pics of them in a headshot, smiling. Or especially women doing the over-the-shoulder come-hither coy grin. I feel it's much more appropriate to show one's physique on this site. But whatever. No problems with those who choose no profile pic.Sheriff John Brown always hated me

Pics wind up on backpage for escorts is an answer I see in misc pretty often. Or spending too much time moderating PM from the bikini underwear guys is another.

Hm. Probably comes down to a mix of things: a lack of trust, not so much confidence in how I look (yet - still a n00b really, lol), and... also, I'm not a bodybuilder (!) :/
I know, I know - "It's bodybuilding.com, dumbass!" Yeah, I get that. Oddly, I'm not a powerlifter either. Or an oly lifter.
Kinda do a combination of all of those. It's just another hobby, is all. Maybe if I was more serious about the aesthetics side of it, I'd be tempted to upload a shot or two.

Mostly because I'm not to the point where I feel comfortable sharing...I imagine this is probably pretty common for those of us whom have in the past had a good physique at one time and are currently in the process of getting it back. I admit I'm a vain SOB, and posting pictures of my pale pudgy self doesn't appeal to me. I'm not too far off now though, maybe peel another 10 lbs....then I'll probably throw up an avi and some progress pics from this past year.

For the same reason I don't go out with my shirt off of pose in front of freinds even gym friends.
It could also be I don't take criticism easy with the amount of effort I have been through to get some kind of physique and some shmoo says "you can do better".
I may post pics one day when I fell ready. Although I think do have some impressive pics.http://www.aussietrackandfieldforum.com.au/
