I could post pics but its just really obvious .. im not gonna go through the trouble.
And lol at people using this one pic where flex looks good in (the one i quoted), then compare everybody with that one picture.
Oh and maybe you shouldnt use pics of Rhoden in his early career

As for the picture you quoted, I think the photo of Shawn is from the IFBB North Americans, where he turned pro. I agree that it's no longer an accurate representation of the way he currently looks. Obviously, a lot has changed since those days, but remarkably, his waist is still the same.

LOL! shawn's great but are you sniffing glue or some chit? you *may* be right about the conditioning, it depends which year you're talking about. please post some pics to prove your point.
edit: you may be right about the *conditioning at times*

id rather not play the "post the most favorable pic for the 2" game. but i rest my case. Rhodens performance at the sheru is a nice example anyway.

I made a similar comment earlier in this thread. Shawn has surpassed Flex in terms of mass and balance, and he has better structure
show me a pic of Flex's back looking this wide and thick

you have no case... all youve done is make an obnoxious statement, also shawn never competed at the sheru which shows how little you know what you're talking about...

in an actual bdb instead of a close up whatever that is, shawn's back doesn't have as much thickness and detail as flex. I agree shawn has a better structure, but he doesn't fill it like flex has. Also, they're both balanced.
and using offseason/off stage pics? have you spent more time posting on getbig rather than here?

Idk, IMO flex had better genetics. His roundness was insane, a lot better than Shawn. Flex looked his best in the 220 range, like we all say 1993 flex just looked incredible. Jaw dropping. In '93 When he was in the gym everyone would just stare at him

I was only talking about mass and balance. I don't see what's wrong with using precontest pics b/c I'm not comparing conditioning. You can use precontest pics of Flex if you want. Also, let's not exaggerate. Shawn has an 8-pack and striated quads in those pics. He's not exactly "offseason"

And i ment the arnold classic europe of course, got it mixed up with the Sheru.
Pics posted Neosemi is a good representative of how far Rhoden is in front of Flex.

Partially true, but in mass construction, 1996 I believe, there was hardly anyone ever looking at him or staring. In hardbody, he had entourages of people just staring at him the entire time he's working out. Crazy lol. It got to his head unfortunately tho

I meant "pretty sure people" not "pretty people" lol. Flex always looked stupidly good, but like most bodybuilders, when at a lesser weight, he looked more "aesthetic". Plus, in the 93 AC he had that superb condition. There is really nothing else to point in his physique in the 93 AC besides the lack of size against dorians and dillets, from a bodybuilding standpoint.
Thats what he tried and managed to improve, but at some cost.

this... his muscle is kind of shallow compared to a lot of guys, just doesnt have that next level of aw inspiring size... great aesthetics though and clearly him bringing it for top 3 got him on the fast track for success.
