    Cals too Low?

I'm 5'5.75 and weigh 147 last I checked. I used the second method on the stickies and came up with like 2,500 something or whatever it was. I'm just curious if the amount of cals I'm eating now (2,050) is negatively going to affect me cause I'm not sure if they are too low.

The purpose of the calculations are to give you a starting point. Real world results are what really matters. Monitor for a month or so and take an average to see what you are losing per week. Aim for a pound loss per week and you will be good. No way to know for sure without actually trying it out.

If you are truly worried that it is too low, then why did you go with a 20% deficit instead of the recommended 10%?

I've been on this 2,050 limit for quite some time now (a few months). I was just wondering if it was too low now due to a few things.

Dude, you make multiple threads daily, you constantly troll and make stupid threads, you've been around long enough to read threads and know the answer

Umm, who cares if I make threads daily? I see you do.

Second, I don't troll. They're actual concerns. Stop trolling my threads. You do this in every single one of them besides a thread I made a few days ago where I am thanksful for the answer you did provide.

What are you really asking? You have been on this diet for a few months??? You should be telling us if it's too low or not!

He doesnt make threads, but really you've been around for 4.5 years! And you have yet to know if your calories are to low and if your dropping weight to fast. You should really know the basics of your body by now. Try the calories for a little while, see how much weight your dropping, see you energy and hunger levels are and go on. YOu calculated your TDEE of course its not accurate but see if it is by testing it.

    Trolling your threads?
    1. You deliberately refuse to use the search function
    2. You make threads about "counting the calories from toothpaste when brushing your teeth" etc
    3. You make constant threads that a) you've been around long enough and read enough threads to know the answer to; b) that have been answered so many times prior

Need I remind you that you were constantly red (a big sign of a troll) until a mod gave you a rep

    I believe you. I don't think you're trolling.

My guess is that you're having a lot of difficulty understanding the content discussed in this forum and, more so, that you're also finding yourself chronically obsessing over nutrition.

Perhaps at this stage is pays to talk to a professional mental health worker and ask for help...real help. The kind that can make positive changes in your life.

    Please consider my suggestion.

Naw I wasn't trolling on that. I'm just very obsessive.

Wonderpug, I am seeing someone currently. My next appointment is this week.

I do search threads at times but I like to get answers for myself.

I have no need to troll. I just have a tough time grabbing concepts at times and I'm very OCD and I like to be in control over EVERYTHING with this lifestyle.

With your disorder, fitness might be the wrong path, at least for now and until you're better managed clinically.

No offense but no way. Fitness has been my lifestyle since....I don't even know how long. It keeps me sane at this point.

All I can say is that the help you need will come from a psychiatrist and not this forum.

I grew up learning that eating fats and then sleeping converts to fat but idk. Any input about eating and then napping would be appreciated. Ps, I feel like sluggish after.

Also didn't know if it was just unhealthy to some degree.

    Any input is highly appreciated

Whooaaa. I never denied I have a disorder. I KNOW I have a disorder. I am currently seeing someone who specializes in OCD. I'm saying that lifting keeps me sane. Being fit is my main lifestyle and if I didn't have that....

What kind of question is this? It honestly may not of even came up. Not because I don't want to bring it up. It's because I have a more important issue with the OCD probably. Which I don't mind sharing at all. I have a tough time talking about my feelings because I doubt them.

I will probably try to work nutrition doubts in though.
