Fam, just finished up my bench meet. Ended up with 479.5 at 220. I missed 490.5 on my third at a 3 board. I'm having trouble with that 3 board transition area. Anyone got any idea on how to fix that? Should I throw in OH work? Thanks in advance for the help. Love you all.

Awesome work. U've got it all figured out - shoulders and board work. Lets see what Mr Wendler had to say on the subject for other ideas that might help.

You are like the strongest bencher here brah. Why you asking us for advice? Have you ever thought about finding an elite benching coach to get you to the next level? Or you can always make your upper body bigger.

Yes, bill's beard was by far the best and I'm also not allowed to be clean shaven, has only happened twice in the last 12ish years...I still have my goatee braided up if you want me to bring it in sometime mike...

Today Ben Seath and 2 other 1800+ totalers and a few pro bodybuilders came to train. Them along with the regular strongmen made for a pretty sweet day. I think Seath is cutting down to do bbing...seems like a lot of dudes end up going that direction.

That's funny cuz today my dog tried to mark a bench full of people sitting on it at the dog park. I saw it but was too far away to stop it in time so I just looked the other way and kept walking like he wasn't my dog.

Well if they made the Denver flight cheaper, everyone nearby would drive to Denver and fly from there. Thus the CO Springs flight would have no passengers and they would lose money. So they make the CO Springs one cheaper so that they can herd you like cattle to big time, connector airports like Denver and then send everyone out from there. It may be cheaper, but I'm sure they are still making money.

Just curious, how do the feds work over there (most of you seem to be in the States?).. Do you have a few main ones, or are they all dependent on area?

Here in Aus, we have 2 main ones.. PA (Powerlifting Australia) which is the tested federation, and GPC (Global Powerlifting Committee) which is untested.. Theres a few others around, but those are the two most well known, main ones.. I know GPC has a massive worlds comp, 26 countries or something involved, do any of you know about it?

Always just interested in how it works in other countries, especially places where it's a bit of a bigger/well known sport than it is here

There are like 1500 federations here and will vary widely based on where you live. Hell even the ice cream truck drivers union has their own fed.

Yea I'm trying to see what kind of competition is down there for a strength gym. I guess they are a private gym so that might be why they don't have an address. They got a FB with some pics of the gym.
