Was at the y today for school(we do labs there). Havnted lifted since saturday so wanted to work up to 405 squat for a single. I walked out 405, the collar on the right side failed and the weights flew off. That was fun, pissed me off pretty good. Guy next to me said it just slid off.

Nah, she knew that the train was from the Air Force and they were transporting an alien that they have been holding hostage. So she convinced him to save the alien by getting in front of the train and derailing it. True story.

Anyone ever tried The System? Its Dennis Cieri's supplement stack, and its fawkin expensive. The Preworkout is ****ing amazing, though. It's more than just a bunch of stims. I don't know the macro breakdown, I just know that I don't have to drink a protein/carb shake, a bcaa supp and a prewo all before lifting.

My buddy who also competed at the KOTB, was wearing a cutoff shirt and Dennis asked him why he was wearing a cutoff with his small arms. Was serious as hell. Also, my other friend and training partner who's the host of the Vegas Power Hour asked him if he wanted to be interviewed. Dennis said, "What?" "What the hell is the Vegas Power Hour?" I'm not surprised he didn't know anything about the Vegas Power Hour, but he was pimping his stuff (The System) hard to my buddy and my buddy was trying to offer him an opportunity to talk about himself on the show and maybe even pimp his stuff even more.

What do you guys do for sore joints? My elbows have been aching terribly for the last few months.

I already day 6 fishoil, 50 barbell curls a day, rice sock, canola oil/mayo daily and ice baths. Am I missing anything?

What's up guys. I wanted to videotape my deadlifts today with my iphone and I was wondering how those of you without lifting partners do it? Do you ask some rando at the gym? or just set it up yourself and cut out all the lag in between when you set up the tape and the actual lift? thanks

Sore JOINTS? I eat a lot of fat. a LOT of fat. I put 3-5 tbsp of coconut oil just in my morning coffee, along with about a half pint of heavy whipping cream. That's before anything else that day.

If your elbow hurts due to some form of tendonitis, then it's capsaicin-based liniments, elbow sleeves, tack and floss with voodoo bands, lax ball massage, ice massage, ibuprofen, and backing off on anything that makes it flare up for a few weeks. There are somethings that seem to guarantee my tendonitis springs to life. Heavy swiss bar bench is one of them (thanks Isaku900!)

Frankly, those barbell curls are probably exacerbating the problem, not helping it.

I don't know if I know anything about nutrition, but the breakdown looks good. Supplements are a ripoff, but that's all I'm willing to do until I start buying better supplements.

Fun Fact: my best friend recently informed me that at family dinners, his dad will sneak his brother's "gluten-intolerant" wife gluten and msg filled meals. She is thus far none the wiser as there are no symptoms despite her "gluten-intolerant" status.
