My old lady is pretty understanding about the whole thing, she knows that training takes as long as it's going to take, so I don't get bitched at too much. Now if I had a decent sex life our relationship would be damn near perfect.

I feel like most girls that I've met who are in their early 20's don't get the concept that I have many hobbies that I am intensely involved in and that I am not interested in partying/drinking/wasting time with bullsh*t. There have been a couple that did get that and they were awesome, but for the most part these young females don't quite grasp it. I'm hoping by the time I'm 24-25 the women I get involved with will be a little more mature and understanding that my pursuits are my top priorities. Maybe I'm being a dick, but I don't compromise my interests for relationships. I'd love to meet a woman that behaved similarly.

I knew patents expire at some point and require maintenance fee's to keep the patent alive for as long as possible. Could be up to 20 years which looks like he patented the rev hyper in 1993 which means that expires this year if it was up to 20 years and it didn't already expired if he didn't keep up with the fees.My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

Yep, but I think the original strap rev hyper that Edge fitness is selling should be safe from litigation at some point this year though the name Reverse Hyper is trademarked and that could be an issue as well. It looks like design patents expire after 14 years but that's for design patents after 1995.

Good advice, but where's the option to just say fuuck it and do what you want? Or maybe I'll quit lifting for a month, start hanging out in bars, then go back to lifting so she realizes how good she has it.
Since Steph and Allie hung out with each other and got along like twins, I think it's safe to say that we may possibly be living the same life.
I've already seen how your girl can get when she has to leave the house after 8pm to bring you a set of jumper cables. Good luck with that. Not that mine wouldn't do the same thing though.

It'd be like staying fat while running marathons because it's more impressive to finish a marathon when you're overweight. It might be impressive in the short run, but in the long run it just doesn't make any sense. ~breathinglife

Is there no motivating her to get into lifting and fitness? I had this struggle when my wife and I were first dating. She had never stepped foot in a gym. 5 years after I brought her to the gym with me the first time she became a yoga instructor and now teaches 5-10 classes a week. It definitely got her to understand the time and effort needed. Plus it keeps her looking fit and trim

u rustled? let's not have a boring argument about it, just chalk it up to me standing in for LAM since he's been awol.
that sucks a lot. FWIW it can go both ways - I ended my first LTR in large part because he was never going to be ok with the amount of time I spent in the gym.
This^^ she might never lift with you but if you can turn her into a yoga/pilates junkie, profit... of course then childcare becomes an issue.training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153696161&page=51

NEVAH!
Yup
She runs and occasionaly goes to the gym. For a while she was lifting with me some times but she deosn't love it. I have been trying to get her to at least come and hang out while I lift but it's really boring watching someone else train.
If she wanted to go to the gym and lift on the opposite days that I do, that would be great. But she doesn't want to and she feels like since she only spends 30-40 mins when she runs, I should only spend that much time lifting. She doesn't seem to understand (or care) that it can take that long just to get into working weights.I'm not DrewDarden

So I just pounded 24oz of lemon juice because I saw shoenice do 15oz and I figured it wouldn't be that hard. Harder than I thought, but I did manage to get it down in 31 seconds.
