I would wear them around for awhile prior to lifting in them. I got mine, took out of package, put on, then squatted for a ton of volume. I am not saying that I caused the rip, but with the second pair I broke them in a little and havent had any problems.

Muscle clamps? Anyone use them and how well have they held up? Wife got me a pair along with two loadable db handles but they seem kind of cheap all plastic like. I've always had metal screw down type collars o not sure.

I used to get a rot of muscle clamps. I made sule to eat a rot of bananas and dlink gatolade and they went away.

yeah, about half of the collars at wild iron are the muscle clamps. they're good.

Thank you all very much. I can love my wife again as she done good. BTW, did not fit on my EFS SS Yoke Bar. But perfectly on the power bar, bow bar, and db handles.
