Tossing your belt sounds pretty normal for a powerlifter lol. I'll tell them it broke while squatting 1000 lbs and I almost died.
In other news, I regret to inform you guys but I have been caught.

I just got off the phone with them. I had a prong break as well. They said you ship it to them and it takes two weeks to get it back to you since they repair it for free. But you have to pay the 9 dollar shipping cost for the return back and put the check/money order in the box along with your billing and shipping information for them to confirm.

There was a guy at my gym that broke the two prongs off of his lever belt, and they just sent him a new part. I guess it's a bit different for a single prong.

Mirin dem knee caps of peace?
She said she started crying when her dad started walking her in and couldn't quit laughing at how pathetic that was. I think drinking a bottle of champagne while weighing less than a sack of feathers really did it.445/365/525

I would say too much bounce, if it was a full stop each rep I'd be okay with it.

meh. Seems like it could be great if you could actually make it be like the first bit of a pull, but I don't think you could
I've always wondered about overloading the bottom of a deadlift doing something other than defecits and the only thing my shytty brain can think of is some sort of hook system that holds the bar down completely for a second which will then be pulled by a partner and let you rocket up

My idea I'm going to patent is balloons. You fill balloons with water/sand/whatever and tape or band them to the plates. Then you place needles at the height you want to deload. More weight off the ground. Balloons hit needle and water/sand spills on floor. Lighter at the top.

All that stuff's going to be up to the meet director. Some state meet, meet directors will be dicks about following these rules. Others, not so much.
IDK Specifics on the singlets at national meets, but the shirts have to be paying teams shirts, aka titan, inzer, quest, con crete, GNC, etc. Everyone talks about this like its some sort of craziness but every other sport has these rules too. Wouldn't see a WSM competitor with a Con Cret logo shirt. I've seen every type of singlet imaginable (including Link's).***Georgia Crew***

I'm not against it at all. I would rather every meet director follow the rules so there is no confusion and have consistency everywhere. I have no idea how strict my meet will be up in April but I went ahead and got other wraps and singlet that are IPF approved. Then I don't have to worry about anything and can lift anywhere.
