Ima spam my fat ass in here a bit. First decent performance as a HW open competitor occurred yesterday in an absolutely stacked competition.

That was awesome.
And Arian would you please do your knees and back a favor and finally learn how to sit back. Wall squats man. If you don't want to do box squats stand facing a wall and just start squatting with out touching it. Keel doing it and keep inching forward until your toes touch the wall. This is good dynamic stretching, part of a warm up so it won't mess up your precious programming, and teach you to sit back or fall back.My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

Dude, I wanted to give the portrait to my friend as a present since the other dog in the pic is his. But now I kinda wanna keep it for myself lol. Maybe I'll have you draw another one of just my dog that I can keep.
Where did this come from? I didn't even video my back squat today. Also, I've never had knee pain. Only lower back pain the past couple months. I use to sit back better than I do now, so I still don't think it's form its mobility. Though I have tried wall squats before and I can get pretty far down but not to depth before I kind of hit an invisible wall and can't go down anymore. Maybe I'll video myself doing it on Wednesday so you can see what I'm talking about.1372 @ 205

It is....which is why you have to learn to breathe a short breath, walk 3-4 steps and repeat. Towards the end of a heavy run, I tend to hold my breath then proceed to want to die afterwards.
Duck walks are a great event for me! Something that long legs helps with.
That said....I wanted that sandbag much higher up, but the clock was ticking and I had to get going. No time to mess around. It was terrible.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Well I have switched to high bar, which I'm still trying to figure out. Bar path seems to look better than my horrific low bar squats. I never front squat though so, yes, my form is beyond horrific. My heels freakin came up at the bottom lol. I'm getting stronger with horrific form though, technique is overrated lololol.

I would say about 8-10 steps. I like to keep my air until I get stabilized and moving. Otherwise (especially with the yoke) you will start to waiver and the weight will swing. Recovering from that sucks. Once everything is stable I take breaths, but that is mostly an after thought.
