I'm training a girl back in New Mexico where there is apparently 0 knowledge of lifting so she gets a lot of really stupid comments from her guy friends and random dudes at gym. Finally she was squatting with a guy with good form (according to her), oly shoes, seemed like he knew something. Then she tells me how he said that he doesn't compete anymore because it takes too long to recover from. Wot?
Man, I tried to go out both Friday and Saturday and started too early, conquests not even once. However, me and my buddy were at the bar late after the game and this girl and her husband start talking to us. Turns out her ring was for fake and the dude was her cousin...things were going great. Then her dad walks in trying to be all tuff and intimidating, half hour later he told me to get her digits. Dad's fawkin love me.Best Meet Lifts:

Wow, Rouge fitness customer service is incredible. I had let them know about the slight wobble like ~2mm but shouldn't effect performance for the lifts I plan on doing with it, that the black oxide looks more brown but didn't really care, and about the nick at the end of the sleeve which wasn't that big of a deal but thought they should know. They responded asking for some pics so I sent them some and they replied back saying that bar bend with in 2.6mm is acceptable and bars costing $1k go through an extra process to make sure every bar is well under 1mm. They didn't mention anything about the oxide color but they said because of the nick at the end of the sleeve they can either refund me $30 or we can do a swap for another bar. I said if it was just the nick I wouldn't want to deal with doing a swap and sending in this bar but because of a combination of things I wouldn't mind doing a RMA. So, I just got this email back

to me
Jason,
We will be sending out a replacement bar for you first thing in the morning along with a pre paid return shipping label for the bar you have now. Let us know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
Zach
Now that's awesome. Just for a nick. I was expecting to at least pay for the return shipping so that was a big surprise.

I agree with Rogue, not to the extent of you two, but just getting pricing on several items resulted in prompt replies and good tone.
EFS seems a bit harsh at times, but they are rather short handed from my understanding and I think we can all relate to that a little bit. In the end, I had a great experience with them, but it was definitely me driving the ship....not them.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Yeah, the turn around was fine. This was just planning the purchase, which I believe we have talked about before. Also, I was buying equipment during their (semi-)annual equipment sale, so the one guy there who knows all the equipment (Matt) was rather busy and was also out a couple days....so could have been better, but was also a special case I suppose.
