    I respect that different people have different goals but I have a special hate for crossfit due to the number of people I see performing technical lifts incorrectly 30 times in a row in a way that is almost certain to lead to injury, all because their weekend-certified instructor didn't know enough to teach them how to do it properly and they themselves don't know any better. That rustles me a bit. Also most of the ones at my gym are platform-hogging dbags who don't rack their weights.

    Thanks, the assistance work seems ok.. Its just not being able to hit my numbers in my main lifts thats bothering me.. Think I will just reset 1RM's, I seem to work best with set numbers to try hit each week

    Agreed on rapid weight loss, although I am attributing the initial drop a lot to water/bloat loss etc.. It has steadied out more, but am abot to reign my eating in even more..     Ahh and I also meant to mention, I haven't done CBL myself, but quite a few at my gym are currently running it.. Most have reported little to no actual scales weight loss, but definitely noticing leaning out more.. Are keeping strength and weight, but leaning out.. If this helps at all?

    yes but powerlifting is nothing if not a brutal mistress...neglect it and it goes away fast. Takes months and years of consistency to build strength, and only few weeks to lose it.

Basically put down my friends training and saying he should stop that and to look him up on youtube to see his squat. Here is his squat.

    lol yeah man I called him and realized wasn't good setup. Though someone posted some links and I found some place called Limitless or something REALLY close, but it sort of seems of the same mold of the group fitness, I have to see if thye have open gym or not.

    Look into student positions on campus. Most of them are decently fun positions and you get good work experience. You will more than likely meet a lot of girls from your school, so that's a plus.

    Do you have a gym on campus? If so, work there. It's easy, all you have to do is deal with the front desk signing in and occasionally walk around and make sure weights aren't left all over the place.

    It's a good way to get your foot in the door if you are thinking about a job in education or want to work in higher education. You will make a lot of contacts if you make the effort to talk to people. It can also help get you into grad school.

    If you're wondering I've had a student position for a little over a year.
