I really don't understand why he squatted 605 x 5 one week ago, strong deload period....
Some people believe that if you are doing high frequency, high volume training than you are able to handle something like that that close to the meet. Also, some believe that they need to keep the frequency and intensity high going into the meet to not get deconditioned. I don't think that was the problem though. For all we know, all his squats in training were high as well. I mean he finished the 645 for his 3rd attempt, it was just high. So maybe his 605x5 in the gym was high as well.
So should I go around grabbing random hot chicks in the crotch because I would want hot chicks to randomly grab me in the crotch?

Looks Like it's high, regardless I don't doubt he can handle the weight to depth.

I absolutely agree with every one of their depth calls. That is why you don want to fold over in a squat. It makes it really hard to gauge depth when you do that.

No pics...one of the gym owners took a few and said she would post em on my way outta the gym. Nothing yet. Nose is now much straighter and my face isn't too swollen. Everything turned out better than expected. Little Pendleton doesn't hurt.

This was my my best squat at the meet in December. for a triple.
first of all hnnnnnggggggg dat ass.
secondly, the camera angle doesn't help you out. I think you're probably good depth. You seen like you're not staying tight in the hole cause you have no pop coming out. What briefs are they? Preds? Can you go a little faster on the descent? With me the faster I go down the more pop I get.

I'm not good enough in the briefs to go faster. If i do my hip shoot forward and my knees go all crazy. I am not staying tight because i'm so focused on hitting depth and coming up that i stop being patient. I don't think I could go any faster without killing my form. I get super pop out of my briefs, this is just so close to a max.
And yes hnnggg. I was calling her depth today and was trying hard not to go crazy.

Edit: I'll try to fix the angle next time. I asked "her" to fix my phone and the only box available was the height you see. I was very focused on cutting them lower than last week, so I'm very happy how it went.
Practice with you DE sets and your warmup sets so you can get there.
If I did DE sets then maybe I would, but I don't do speed squats anymore. I don't think I got anything from it. My briefs are so tight that I get a lot out of them no matter what, I think it doesn't look like I get a lot of pop because my reversal strength is awful. Im doing pause squats and trying to remedy it.

thanks for taking the time either way. my briefs are stretched out preds that have been fixed and grid stitched, so maybe if they were new I would actually get "pop" out of them. I'm looking for new briefs because of the sausage legs they give me, so maybe the new ones will be better if I'm faster
