Hello Everyone!
I am Bernadett Matassa. As you all know ... As an IFBB PRO athlete my life is around nutrition , exercising and heath.
I love to compete and absolutely passionate about what I do , the best part of my life is still my job..
CHANGING LIVES.... FOR GOOD!
I love transforming people's body,mind and health.. I've been on this field for over 12 years. I've seen , experienced, learned a lot and I still do every day.
I started out very chubby as a teenager and I've tried everything until I found the "GOLDEN MIDDLE WAY" to GET into shape and STAY in shape as well! Hard work and clean eating habits... That's all you need!
In this thread I would like to show you all how I work with my "troopers", athletes, moms, everyday folks, elderly people, children on the daily basis to be do their BEST and change theirs lives FOREVER!!
I hope to receive lot's of questions so I can brainstorm and help you all with my best knowledge to reach your individual goals.

Let me introduce Negar to you all! :)
She is one of my troopers who works really hard to transform her body and change her lifestyle.
I started to train her one year ago and she is down 90 pounds since... She is the person who never exercised before... At least not with weights... The hardest part was to get her show up on our sessions weekly.. lol
She has developed a lot of healthy habits since we started. She cut waaaaaaay back on sugar and "junk food"... She is doing pretty good on cardio but not nearly as good as I want her to...
She is a fighter and very competitive with others. I only have to say "you can't do it" and 100% she will get it done no matter what.. (reverse psychology)
She has been slacking a little in the past couple of month so I am going to make her start to write a journal again and go strong on a NEw Year resolution...
I'll ask her to create a profile here on BodySpace as well and make sure keep you all posted about the challenges of her journey to the perfect body..

She is a typical example of the "trying to loose that last 5-10 pounds"...
Actually she is very athletic,gains muscle very easily however she likes her "wine and cheese" too much.
She has a tight body already and great gluts . The only part of her body she is not crazy about is her stomach area... As we all know to be able to get rid of that problem is DIET DIET and more DIET!! She started to realize no matter how much cardio or resistant training she does without a strict diet her body will hold on to that body fat for "safety"... It would be different if she has over a 100 pounds to lose but she doesn't. You have less to lose harder it is...
We found a mission for her. PHOTO SHOOT in March... If she really wants those photos she will work for it harder than ever and I am going to help her until the end.

No rocket science behind it, just calorie deficit, cardio, resistance training and dedication, simple as but you know that all too well im sure. Little things like weighing your food, eating at the same times, having cheat meals on the weekend help aswell.

Awesome!
Well because she is a female I like to keep her on the Gauntlet or staimaster at least an hour 6x a week.
If you've been only doing the bike for a while I would def. switch to something more effective. Of course only if you have no major low back or knee injuries. Elliptical would be much better!IFBB PRO ATHLETE

Lol. Yes! She has a short term goal so she must step up her game..
I always recommend at least 2 kinds of cardio to do during a week period. Our body is very smart and adopts to everything way too fast. It's true for the workouts as well. To have the max results out of your cardio you should change it up so you keep your body guessing..IFBB PRO ATHLETE

Crystal who really needs to drop some weight to stay healthy!
Let me introduce Chrystal!!
One of my favorite AND most challenging client....
I would love to see her loosing at least a 100 pounds by the summer....
She has a very unique personality. She's worked with great trainers before I met her. She KNOWS how to diet and how much work it is to get into shape also she trains really hard!! (When she shows up. LOL )
SHE IS JUST NOT DOING IT!!!!
At least not for long enough to see awesome results. She does wonderful for 2 weeks drops 15 pounds then just have a bad meal and gives it up... I hope she will understand soon that 1 bad meal is OK!!!! You just have to get back on the wagon the next day and you will be fine...
She is young, healthy and she is totally in the age when she can change her whole life around before the extra weight would start to cause her health issues.
We also try to work around a lot of Joint problems with her.. She has some knee,low back and foot problems. These should be all solved by dropping some of that extra weight.
Follow her journey and try to keep her on the road until she gets back into shape!

This Crystal girl seems like a right challenge, dunno how your gonna get a fire lit up underneath her unless you use a scare/truth tactic. Thats what got my ass in gear, I saw all the health risks and what not and decided if I dont do it now im gonna be in deep trouble in 5 years time.

Well Crystal is a a hard headed one but I say never too late to get on the right track....
I've been training people since I was 18... I've seen it all and love it too! I learned a lot about how to help people on different ways... She is actually responds really well for " reverse psychology"... I tell her you can't do it and she sure will get id done.. lol

Introducing Marjan..
Marjan....
(on the left side of the picture!! )
I've been training her for years and she has come a loooooon way..
She is Iranian.. very tiny , extremely strong... our challenge is to tighten her upper body, bring her quads out more and create a waist to look more proportioned.
Her training includes a lot of pyramid style lifting, heavy weights, lower reputations..
She works out extremely hard pretty much without limits... the challenge creating a waist on her is.... her hips are already very small. She is only fighting for that "last 5 pounds" to look perfect and it's found on her waist..... The key is going to be her diet... Her work schedule is crazy and she keeps forgetting about eating her meals regularly... if I can make her prep the food for a week she will be making huge changes...
We have a 3 month goal to get her ready for her first show ever!! I am very excited about this progect because she has a "WOW" personality and I am positive that she will rock the stage!
