In recent threads I've seen some glimpse of some members homes blanketed with snow. I must say the pics are beautiful, I can feel winter.
Does anyone want to share their "White Christmas" pics?
Actually I had one white Christmas in Minneapolis, MN., I remember it being COLD even all bundled up, freezing my a$$ off. LOL
What's it like in your neck of the woods.

What's all the white stuff on the ground?
I'm open to any suggestions and have a difficult time accepting limitations without an honest effort on my part, you can count on that!

Ha ha, not enough of that 'white stuff' in my neck of the woods during the Winter! Snow is magical! LOL But that's coming from somebody who rarely sees much of it. I rather suspect that some of our friends up north who deal with it 3 months out of the year, non-stop might have another opinion. The pics are beautiful though!

It still hasn't snowed here enough to stick. It looks like we'll get our first serious snowfall this weekend, just in time for Christmas. I'm off Christmas Eve and Christmas, so hopefully it'll just dump all over the place...I won't have anywhere to be, so let it snow. Let it snow. I went to school at The U of Kansas, Lawrence, didnt see snow until I got back from winter break. As you say it was magical, what is more magical was my first experience with rain freezing turning everything crystally. Dangerous as it can be, as a college student it was an amazing sight!
How wonderful, please post pics!
Wow!

Of course some people may not realize that it does snow in Hawaii. On Moana loa and Moana kea, two volcanoes on the island of Hawaii, the Big Island. Think Kilamanjaro in Africa. So imagine in February, skiing in the morning and surfing in the afternoon.

There is nothing fun about the cold or snow except maybe a couple things but not enough to justify me to live in it. The only time the snow is "Pretty" is RIGHT after a fresh snowfall on a sunny morning, other than that it's brown crap looking lumps of whatever piled on the sides of the road.
I like the snow where if I want to see it, I'll drive and see it and can drive out of it at any given time.

Forecast for the western end of the Catskills has changed again. We're going to have a few flurries on Saturday and no snow on Sunday.
Looks like we're in for a brown Christmas again this year."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

-21 here today. Didn't realize it and ended up walking out to my shop after cardio without a shirt on. Here is my BBQ. I shoveled it off last week so this is all pretty new snow. We had a short break in the weather and i had my boy outside playing in the snow earlier in the week but its looking like we will be below -20 for awhile now.
Oh and we usually end up with snow from mid October to early march for about 5 months of the white stuff.

Just finished the driveway again, another 8-9", we are well into the low 20" mark for this storm. Easily the worst one I can remember, will post pics tomorrow, my sister in-law lives with us and both of her cars are sitting off to the side of my driveway........hope she doesn't plan on going anywhere until spring because they are buried.
