It should, yeah. LOL
You could use the technical argument. "It's not a gun. It's a low-yield explosive gas-propelled led ball projector."
I think we should start calling everything that's scary by the term, "Assault [insert object]".
Janet Napolitano will now be known as an "Assault Woman".
Black widows are now "Assault Spiders"."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

BH, I don't believe you even know what an "automatic weapon" is. An "automatic weapon" was most certainly not used in the recent shootings that have been in the news so much lately.
As for myself and my family, I am going to purchase as many firearms and ammunition as I can afford in 2013, before Obama gets his way and disarms America, and makes it into the same socialist state that is present day Europe. He which hath no stomach to this fight, let him depart.

I stole this from Misc. R/P.
"I need an assault rifle because I live under the rule of a government who thinks it has the right to take away my assault rifle; a government who dictates who I can marry, what I can eat, drink, and smoke; a government who uses force to take my money away from me, who charges me rent (property tax) to live in my own home: a government who commits acts of war without the consent of the people, who murders it's own citizens witout probable cause or due process; a government who has monopolized the currency with which I can trade my goods and services, then devalued that currency through inflation and taxation; a government which uses the tyranny of democracy rather than the freedom of a republic.
To put it bluntly, I need an assault rifle in the event that I might have to declare my independence from a tyrannical government.""Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

I truly believe the same. It's the entire reason why it was placed in the constitution to begin with, to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government and the right to defend ourselves from other harm as well. I also have the firm belief that most countries wouldn't dream of invading the US because our citizens are armed, and armed well.
One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.

Rebecca Peters (George Soros's henchperson) is the one who engineered the gun bans in the UK and Australia. When they tried to do an end run through the UN to do the same here, Mr. Bolton told them to pound sand. Both of those countrys' violent crime rates have gone up. Meanwhile, any State that has gotten a "Shall Issue" pistol permiot has seen crime rates go down. Seems criminals like thier victims unarmed.

Today's brain hemorrhaging statement:
"Do you think a cop with a revolver stands a chance against someone with a fully automatic weapon capable of firing 100 rounds per minute?!""Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

More (pun intended) liberal hypocracy:

Filmmaker Michael Moore's (search) bodyguard was arrested for carrying an unlicensed weapon in New York's JFK airport Wednesday night.
Police took Patrick Burke, who says Moore employs him, into custody after he declared he was carrying a firearm at a ticket counter. Burke is licensed to carry a firearm in Florida and California, but not in New York. Burke was taken to Queens central booking and could potentially be charged with a felony for the incident.
Moore's 2003 Oscar-winning film "Bowling for Columbine" criticizes what Moore calls America's "culture of fear" and its obsession with guns.

There was much talk of vouchers way back when, and in privately funded testing it was shown to greatly improve the students education. It was a great idea, here is the money we would just give to a public school, you send your child to whichever school you choose. Teachers union didn't much like the idea, thus Democrats didn't much like the idea.

He who chooses his plan for himself, employs all his faculties. He must use observation to see, reasoning and judgment to foresee, activity to gather materials for decision, discrimination to decide, and when he has decided, firmness and self-control to hold to his deliberate decision.
