I kind of agree whacos are gonna find a way and part of me says train and arm teachers, works well in Israel, but then that opens a whole new can of worms when a teacher looses it. Guess there isn't a great answer maybe armed gaurds at schools. **** we protect far less important things and people then our kids

I would think that's a great way to protect schools, but only the teachers who are willing. Lots of them won't want any part of it and that's OK because I think enough of them will participate to make a real difference. Even if none of them ever take any action whatsoever, the fact that schools are no longer "gun free zones" may make the perps turn elsewhere for their massacres and that's OK with me as the youngens' protection comes 1st.

So one of the guys to whom I referred as having this particular shoe was in the gym yesterday. He was doing his oly lifting. OK well maybe he just started out because he had the 10's on either side of the bar. That's ALL he did. Now, I would think someone who was just really starting out in the sport would not truly need $300 shoes at this point, but hey if he has money to burn like that who am I to say lol. It seems like an awful lot to spend if maybe oly lifting is just a passing fancy.

I agree they are pricey. When I started, I wore cheap ten-dollar payless running shoes for 3 months before my e-coach encouraged me to invest in a pair. Even the lifters I train, I do not tell them to get Oly shoes until they show me that they are dedicated to the sport and they plan to attend meets in the future. Otherwise, they are not necessary when learning technique in the beginning.

I Might get some **** for this, but how many times are we up to with his suspensions from the site now? So far he's threatened harm to several members, made extremely inappropriate comments to some female members, and is now calling for the death of any person who supports the 2nd amendment. He already knows. At this point, I could give a **** about this guy after all the things he has said. He's a real scumbag that puts on a fake show about how he's a good person. He's violent, he has little respect for anyone but himself, and if you disagree with him, he resorts to violence and name calling. And let's not take things too personally. I read what he wrote, and I'm for the 2nd amendment. While I think it was over the top, I also don't think he literally meant that he hoped my children would be killed. He posts all the time about his family. Do you honestly think he'd wish actual harm on anyone else's? It was a poor choice of words to express an emotion.
