I am wokring on the on NSAM offers and I am very pleased with the textbook they use. Like their PT certification program, it is very detailed.

The ISSA have one written by Jon Berardi. It's really good. It's called 'Specialist in Fitness Nutrition'. Their other one, Specialist in Performance Nutrition, is geared towards athletes rather than general population and is also very good. The exams are taxing too and are hugely based around case studies (which is good).

I have recently been thinking of doing the same, but haven't decided on a particular course yet. Let me know if you come across a course that sounds good so I can check it out.

I took basic nutrition and sports nutrition at a local Uni. Learn the basics and keep out the commercial and product pushing hype.
