I decided to be an active member!

So I've had a BodySpace account for a while, but haven't been an active participant. So I decided to start journaling!
I'm a bikini competitor. I fight for every pound I keep off, even in my off season. I'm not a naturally slender girl and I put up a good fight to stay even at 20%-25% body fat in my off season. So it's definitely hard work for me to get down to stage body fat. I'm currently starting to kick back into prep mode and so this is the hardest part, the jump start. Always makes me anxious if I've given myself enough lead time to my next show. Right now, I'm considering pushing my first show for the year back a few more weeks to give me some more time. I guess that means the next few weeks will really decide which show I start with. I'm already qualified to compete Nationally this year, so I'm hoping to knock the rust off this spring and hit a couple National shows this summer for a chance at a pro card. We'll see. Hope you guys stick around to follow me through the season and beyond. Thanks!

So I definitely did decide to have my first show for the year be May 24. That puts me 11 weeks out now. A few little life hiccups are getting in the way and the extra couple weeks will be welcomed.
