I never thought I'd say this in my lifetime. It gets harder every time something like this happens to keep faith.

You missed an excellent interview on FOX News today.. this one guy asked the other dude how some might think how God could let this happen.
And his answer was basically- We want to ask this, but we want to pull God out of the schools. How about letting him in.. in which Gods ideals can be made known and possibly prevent things like this. We want to put God out of the schools but call on him after stuff like this happens?
Not trying to be all Bible thumper, but I found it interdasting.

OP, do you realize that more children have died of starvation since you posted this thread than in the school shooting? Around 15 million children die a slow, miserable death each year because they have no food....and THIS is what makes you question your faith....because it's front page news...
Lord works in mysterious ways, OP. It's all in his plan. All the world's suffering occurs just to test the faith of Christians.***Farkle Draggers Unite***

I wasn't implying humor...
If you are a religious man, which you said you are, then you can just say that God works in mysterious ways.
Everything that happens is caused by the will of God, according to the Christian faith.
Based on that, then this certainly is sad, but it's still part of God's will.

Although I'm not a believer, it'd be wrong for you to dismiss your faith on this basis. Gives one a pessimistic view of things.
Approaching your faith objectively from different standpoints is how you should go about it. There's a million answers a priest will give you for the purpose of this tragedy but in truth there is no purpose, no reason.Pharmaceutical Chemistry BSc
