Hammer92 & Semico23: Always Someone Fighting a Harder Battle.
Hammer92 & Semico23-(Offical LOG start) Jan 1st-May1st (2013)
There is always someone out there fighting a harder battle. When I hear people make up excuses of "why not", I can't help but think of the people who do it with truly motivation obstacles they are facing. It is all relative. This year I have: Bulged two discs, tore left patella tendon, dislocated shoulder, gotten 4 teeth knocked out, and been sick five times. I am not stating this for pity: tears bring empathy, sweat brings results. With that said, I am turning the page to a new decade (20s) on the 29th, and only looking forwards from here. I am writing this because as I look back on this log, however long it may be, from now... I will realize my realtive struggles and how they only made me stronger.
**We will have a daily goal, weekly, and long-term.
*Our overall goal is to go bed better than we woke up: Physically AND Mentally.
Throughout these nexts months, Semico23 and myself will post workout, diet, and daily goals/ accomplishments.

Hammer92 & Semico23: Always Someone Fighting a Harder Battle.
Being the guy that constantly wanted progress but never had the determination to do something about it, I have drastically turned my life around and have pushed myself every day with the expectation of a better Sean tomorrow. In the next 5 months I have many strength/body composition/overall health goals that I want to achieve, but the real goal is to take the steps to improve myself every day. I am at the point where everything seems to be going along smoothly with school, family and life where I can push myself for certain goals that I want. Hammer92 and I have always pushed eachother and this will just be another step in our journey.

first thing i would like to say, is that this is a max out day. and i only do them once every couple of months to track progress. i am no an ego lifter 100% of the time. but i do admit i enjoy lifting heavy weight(for me). and i think enjoying your training is pretty important

Many would argue this is overtraining,
I am consuming a lot of calories, and seeing progress so I am going to continue until it's time to make a change!

*I do not have any "New Year's" resolutions. New Year's is a calendar date. A calendar is a representation of time. Time is constant. When I have a resolution, I start that moment. I have a resolution everyday.

First Day back from Miami and first time lifting in 8 days. decided to just hit all of the upper body since i knew strength and endurance would be down. Also some kind of left shoulder pain ive had for about 4 days. no clue what it is. isnt effecting lifts other than mentally knowing its not 100%

Felt really good to get back in the gym and do something active. Much better than doing cardio every other day. Had a lot of fun and am excited to get back to the grind tomorrow and destroy my legs.
overall felt really good about the session. i knew my speed on the deadlift would be down since i had the time off from lifting because of vacation but i was really happy with my squats and the work i did put in on deadlift. my weight managed to stay about the same while i was on vacation which honestly surprised me. so nothing but up from here.
