    SL 5x5

    I've been doing the SL 5x5 for 2 weeks now and before that I have been working on my power snatches and cleans. In the program theres only OHP, bench, squat, dead and rows. Should I incorporate the snatch into the program too ? good idea or is it too much work ?

    You could add a light explosive day maybe sat or sun and do olympic lifts. If you just want to just add the snatch you could prob take out dips on monday or fri and add the snatch in its place.

    You can probably switch out OHPs if you don't plan to go too heavy, I used light olympic lifts before my deadlifts on SL5x5 (still did OHPs though) to warm up and activate the CNS a bit more before heavy pulls, actually worked pretty well.

    have you run the program before? if not, just follow it... it works just the way it is. if you want to work on your olympic lifts do an olympic lift program

    Yeah i know where you're getting at im thinking the same thing too. If it's a program that works, follow it without changes right ? I guess i'll run the program for the whole duration and see to change it up after completing. thanks!
