Now I'm guessing this is an all out NO FOOD AND ONLY WATER for 24 hours.. No juice or anything..maybe not..
I just wanted to post it in the misc,
researching it now...
I would only do it for 24 hours and get about 10K food in me the day before. Like hibernation.. also I would do it on rest day.

The HGH increase is only after 24 hours, the article suggests to fast for 3 days... I would only do it for the HGH honestly. Altho the other positive affects will be nice.. I'm not trying to lose any weight..

No, the article suggest 3 days. The reason being "the metabolism tends to suffer no ill effects up to 72 hours."
Also If you do fast I would only do it once every 2-5 months but that's just IMO... At the end of the day,,,,,,

I've heard about this before. I'm interest to know if anyone has ever tried fasting for a 24 hour period? I have a friend from Africa who does this once a week (wtf right?) but he says he always feels great after.
I'd also be interested in a peer reviewed study lol

lulz at people that thing fasting for 24 hours would be detrimental. i'm not sure exactly where the line is that seperates healthy from non healthy, but it is definitely not at 24 hours. would not be very willing to do 3 or 4 days, but was planning on doing like 30 hour fast next week after my finals

I'm thinking about doing the water fast.
I guess I can do some workouts at a 1RM ( witch I never do) fast for 24 hours, wait for another day becasue I want my body to have the nutriants in my system before and then do another 1RM..
So,
Day1: 1RM, eat double my normal calories.. maybe more like 10K calories...
Day2: Start the 24 hour only water fast
Day3: Eat normal again
Day4: 1RM and report to misc..
