Unhappy Injured again, motivate me while I recover.

An old injury flared up at work Tuesday. I have multiple compression fractures and disc herniation in my middle and lower back. Injured it around three years ago, and recovered pretty much fully since then. It got really bad at one point, lots of pain.

I guess I tweaked it at work, felt like someone dug a knife in between my middle lower lats. I can barely even walk around without a ton of pain, can't sleep, hurts to breathe also. Don't have insurance and can't afford a doc, so I'm just going to deal with it for a bit and see what happens, if it gets too bad I'll go.

In the meantime I have lost all motivation to stick with my cut, since I'm unable to go to the gym. At this rate probably for a few weeks it seems like, maybe longer. I've just been lying around moping all week, eating crap food.

Anyone have any similar experiences or any advice?

Sorry to hear about your injury. I have deteriorating bone loss at T5 and T6 vertebrae and sometimes its incapacitating. The one thing that I have noticed is since losing weight the pain episodes are fewer. You can still cut without going to the gym. Give your body a chance to heal, but don't sabotage your gains or health by crashing your cut. Keep this site bookmarked and when you feel like caving in take a trip on the forum. Heal quickly and get back in your game. Good luck.
