I got 2 benches on a lot from craigslist.
1 is a Weider 800 Pro in 9/10 condition, the other is a MPEX Powerhouse Club 1900 in 7/10 condition.
I'd like to sell 1 of them, both seem pretty good quality, what do you guys think?

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I'll take that weider bench off you if you're selling it op? I don't mind paying the shipping to the UK so long as its a genuine weider. Just name your price.

haha. And and the trend continues that Weider sucks. Ive been a lurker of this site for 2 years, first couple of times posting. For just starting lifting less than a year ago the Weider brand was just so prevalent in my local CL and has held up decent. Im trying to get more quality equipment in my basement, and it all depends on what gets posted in my area (eastern Iowa).
So I guess I will throw the Weider 800 on CL and see what happens. Its pretty much brand new, got it from some kid's parents that are selling his stuff because he dropped out of college with a lil over 200 lbs in Weider (I know) hammer tone oly plates.

Cool, I appreciate it. Around 500 dollars for the budget. Nice bench and rack would be ideal, only willing to drive up to around an hour around Iowa City. Believe me, I know craigslist. I have been buying and selling electronics, iphones, tvs, furniture etc on there for a long time. Any tips would be appreciated though!

I lived in Iowa City for a couple of years. I didn't know about it at the time, but there's a "discount fitness warehouse" in Jesup, IA... called Jesup Gym, which might be worth checking out. Craigslist is probably your best bet though.

For new equipment, I also recommend Jesup, as I've oedered stuff from them and they are great to deal with. Hope some others will be able to step up and help you out a little on the used stuff. Good luck.
