Orange is not fermented in Blue Moon. It's used as a garnish or fruit-soak to compliment it. It's also brewed by Coors so it's debatable whether or not it's a truly "craft" beer.

Beersnobbery aside, I do enjoy this beer once in a while, non-fermented orange included

Interesting insight. I had about a 45 minute beer talk with a co worker today about the best beers and what not. I've decided that shocktop is also good, but man the orange flavor taste more like a syrup then a beerish orange flavor

Sam Adams is fuarkin awesome. The reason there so cool im my opinion is because they've got many flavors and theme changes. Just when I was at the store I saw Octoberfest, Decemberfest, Winter Ale, Christmas Special, etc. Tons of good chit

Its a good summer beer with a good orange flavor too it but I feel they have watered it down over the years to make it more appealing to the masses. Not sure where you are located but anywhere I have been in the midwest gets Bell's.
