Benefits of drinking green tea? (will rep)
hey, I weigh 200 pounds right now at 5"8. I'm trying a bunch of stuff that is helping me lose weight. cut back on the excess calories such as eating fast foods. Eat healthy stuff such as during lunch I'm eating 1 turkey sandwich with lettuce, cheese and whole wheat bread with one apple on the side. also I eat 1 bag of baked hot cheetos that has 120 calories on it. I swim for an hour for my school. after that, I go to the rec and jog one mile and go into the sauna for 30 minutes. I'm looking down the road of green tea. how good is it? how many cups should you drink? in the morning or before bed?

Fastens metabolism, has antioxidants that are good for your brain health, also protects you from getting sick.
But to lose fat its all about how much calories you take and how much you burn.
Eating healthy , slow absorbing carbs such as whole wheats will also improve your metabolism.
Same goes for fats, bad factory made food are filled with unhealthy carbs and fats.
So try taking your calories from good sources, eat often but only to get rid of the hunger, then stop eating.
If you get just enough to get rid of the hunger for another 2-3 hours with good healthy food,
You won't be getting as many calories, and you'll keep your metabolism running faster throughout the day.
Good luck OP.

I drink about 3 cups almost everyday, usually late morning/afternoon.
It doesn't matter because: it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings, and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourselves off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one.

I drink it all the time, drinking it right now. Don't know of any benefits but I drink the Lipton Diet green tea with citrus. I can't stand drinking water so I assume this is a good alternative. I'm also not trying to loose weight though.

the caffiene will speed up metabolism, personally im skeptical of anything with antioxidants advertised just because it seems like ppl make free radicals out to be cancer cells, but it cant hurt in the end.
bro if your trying to drink something to assist weight loss, id just drink black coffee with nothing in it. it has more or less double the caffiene, and it has antioxidants as well. in fact i know simply shredded has at least one article on why its soo good so that might be worth your time. hope i helped.
inb4 all zyzz drank was water and green tea... i know this is just my opinion.

I'll drink a cup or two in the morning...nice change from water & a bit of caffeine to get you going...
Liptons makes this Earl Grey Green Tea that's pretty solid...
Don't go drinking gallons of tea a day though, too much is bad for the heart...

I bought buy 2 get 1 free Green Tea Extract pills a while back. Take them with my EC stack usually 2-3 times daily. Don't know if they help a lot, but it can't hurt.

on my cut i was drinking 7 cups a day and I lost like 5% bf. It worked wonders, got me from 18% to around 13. I would wake up and drink 3 cups, then around 3:30 after school and gym I'd drink the other 4 cups and brew tea for the next day. Was a good system I had going and worked for me...people would ask what I was doing n I'd say drinking green tea.
