Practiced some more posing with coach. My plan is to do some more practicing on my own tonight so workout, treadmill cardio, then posing it is.
I am to “walk like a wh*re” until Sunday. That is by far the hardest part! So much going on with posing that I really need to get my movements down to muscle memory, which I am getting there especially compared to last year. Remembering to smile while mentally thinking about the minor details that will set me apart from the rest is some tough work.

Baking my treat tonight ! For this one it’ll be simple, I’m going for a mini chocolate chip cookie cake. I just really want to practice my cake decorating skills. I used to decorate all the birthday cakes for my family growing up. My aunt used to run the deli/bakery at the local grocery store and taught me all the tricks and tips and I always had fun playing around with various designs with the different tips. Once, I remember making a “Ta-ta” cake for my cousin when she turned 16 because of a joke we’d had growing up. If anyone knows what the “game”…”Tune in Tokyo” (*)(*) is……..my cousin used to try this on my aunt a lot and she swore that when she turned 16 it was her turn to get it….I think she hid from our aunt all day on her birthday…Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

Just got DEXA scanned (same machine as last time)...results came back 9.2%
Headed to the outlet mall to get my watch band adjusted and do some shopping for some cute clothes for tomorrow's photo shoot.
Trying to have all of my meals eaten before the 7 PM athletes meeting so we can look at me and assess how much more I need to eat.

Two extra meals last night to get in an extra 12 oz of taters.
18 oz taters down so far this morning. Coach is bringing me pancakes!!! Yum.

So I made the center of first call outs. They didn't move anyone around for the comparisons.

So I didn't win the overall...kind of knew it when they made us do the quarter turns twice...they liked the other girl because she had a bigger butt. The one time not having stubborn azz fat comes to be a bad thing . Grrrr.
But anyway. I won my class (17 girls) and that was an awesome feeling! A few shamelessly stolen proofs from the official photog. I'll definitely be purchasing these! They came out amazing!!

I was already nationally qualified for this year, so now I'm qualified for next year also.
I'll be doing Jr. Nationals in Chicago in June and USAs in Vegas in July. I suppose if I win in Chicago (would get my Pro Card), I may still do Vegas simply to get my name out there more and get more stage time in.Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!
