Back in the day when supps had it in the U.S., it was pretty popular. Ripped Fuel was a good one. I think that one actually may still be around... obviously minus the real ingredient that made it so popular once upon a time.
We all knew back then that, "yep... someday some poor bastard is gonna have a heart attack and die from this stuff". It was inevitable.
And whatdaya know...
It was something else, though. I wouldn't mess with it unless you're young and healthy. I never even took the recommended dose, basically because I was too scared to. Just a half-dose, was enough for me.
As for cutting, I'm of the opinion that all this thermogenic, and herbal crap is just for lazy people who would rather manipulate/stress their system (particularly the cardiovascular system), rather than simply manage their calories/diet better, and/or just do a bit of cardio.
Back in the day, we used it primarily for workouts -- and it was mainly just a gimmick to make people feel like they were really having one hell of a workout. I guess you could argue it was a performance enhancer... if you were having a physical fitness test (running, etc.) or something. But, there's nothing that $hit can do for you that you can't obtain naturally, if you're smart & disciplined enough to do it that way.
I say 'no' to manipulation, whether it be hormones, or anything else. But, you do whatever you want with your body. If you're into heavy "supplementation", then go have fun, I guess. I'm more into HEALTH nowadays.
Caffeine, aspirin, ephedrine, with a cocktail of potent herbs... blah, blah-blah. It's all just a bunch of dope, really. -That's the point of view, of someone that has high standards for health, anyway. Plenty of people don't care about their health. I call it Darwinism.
