While I think what OP has planned sounds like a great evening, I don't understand those who are saying its over the top? It's flowers, dinner, drinks and a movie at home? Sounds like every weekend at our place (minus the picture frame thing which I think is a sweet gift)!
Love the fishbowl idea too - the nerds as stones is brilliant!

I think special occasions are great. I love being fawned over on occasion (something I wouldn't expect daily). It doesn't have to be contrived, though there is nothing wrong with celebrating special occasions.
Though I have noticed that Val and I no longer really celebrate anything (birthdays, Christmas, Anniversaries), and that special occasions are created.

Everything went amazing! She loved the picture frame and made sure I gave her an extra flash drive so she can upload more pictures to it. I’ll post 2-3 pics later once I am out of work so you can see for yourself what she opened her eyes to!
Fish Bowl was pretty dam tasty too but we only drank about 3/5 of it haha. Was filling especially with dinner and all.
Yes she loved it haha. Had to set up and made her close her eyes until she saw the prepared dinner table. Had candles, a bottle of wine, and the works!
Was a great weekend!
Edit:
Of course it was hard to be so so happy together when we are both from CT and what has happened to our state
