Been there. I've cried multiple times in the gym, freaked to eric, etc. Lifting is kind of my identity, and when I fail at the only thing I have and should be getting better at, I don't know what emotion that is, but it's bad.
Your insightfulness into yourself will help you through the journey, as you can be realistic as to what the issue is and the best way to handle it for you. Be very thankful in these times for Eric. lulz at being cold in the mid 40's.... I am the same way, originally being from the south (SC) anytime it dips below 50 here I look like the kid from A Christmas Story. Now that it's warming up here in OK I'm rocking shorts/t-shirt every chance I get!

Like Kelsea Marie said it will be a little more like the focus on a front squat and it does allow the stimulus to be from just a slightly different angle by using this piece. The normal BB squat, the BB front Squat, or even the trap bar deads, to even the regular deadlift can all slightly hit the legs in just a little different way, although still close.
Also on that safety bar, if you are someone that has bad shoulders, then this bar will alow you to still do some quality squats as well with your hands on the handles as opposed to reaching back for a regular BB.
