SHould I break my belt in?

Just got a lever belt from UGE.com......................should I break my belt in? A youtuber named "omarsluf" said to break in to your powerlifting belt by rolling it up continuously for two days straight. Just wondering if this is a wise thing to do? also....where should the belt be placed? on the hips or just above the hips?

    PLEASE HELP!

Best way to break in a belt is to just wear it. It will be uncomfortable at first but both you and the belt will break in together. This will also allow the belt to form to your body better and not break down the integrity of the rest of the belt.

You in aus? I just got a single prong uge belt afew weeks ago, all i did was roll it up one way then the other and it was enough to break it in, just use it and it should get better though, as for where to wear it though it depends, i wear it lower when in a suit but higher when raw

A mate of mine broke in his belt like that and when I got mine he told me not to do it. I've just broken mine in by wearing it, takes a while but it gets there.

I recently got a P2 Powerbelt from Elitefts. I've been rolling it and will give it a go with my workout today. Question is the belt won't go through the hoop. Is it an issue if I just leave it unhooped?

nah it shouldnt be an issue, it'll loose its stiffness as you use it and will go through the loop eventually
