So I thought it would help me to have a blog going about trying to get big in medical school. Im leanish (12%) and 195lbs but the combo of school and genetics have my blood pressure a bit elevated so I'm going to be changing things up from iifym to an actual meal prep brown rice salmon etc.
As for workouts, I run 5/3/1 with a bunch of bb assistance exercises and 30 min of cardio a day
Current calculated maxes are 515 deadlift, 415 squat and 325 bench.
Meals for the day today
Meal 1- brown rice and chicken
Meal 2- salmon, potato, asparagus
Meal 3- brown rice chicken
Meal 4- whatever my wife makes
4000kcal 2.5g sodium 200g protein 100g fat 575g carbs

3-15
5x10 cable rows
5x10 sets standing abs
5x10 leg raises
5x6 pull-ups
5x30 plank ball slam thingies
5x5 dumbell does per arm 110lbs
5x10 side bends per side 50lbs
5x12 pulldowns
2x10 cable curls
Today was my deadlift/squat accessory day. Since I've implemented it in, I've felt a lot better off the floor on deads. I don't know why I suck so much at pull-ups. I'm weighing right at 200lbs so I'm not really that heavy. Especially since I've done 300 reps in 30 min a few years back weighing 175. Whatever, good workout, back too the books

Good workout after a test yesterday. Stayed on the diet and hydration all day and it paid off with a PR. Arms later today

I read textbooks about 8 hours a day. 3.3gpa but I had a really high mcat and my gpa had a really strong upward trend from a 1.6 my first semester lol. I had about 200 hours of clinical experience from volunteering and shadowing. As for getting in, know why you want to do this and then work your ass off
