In other news ... I'll be ordering a new pair of 24in Titan Signature Gold wrist wraps, along with a pair of Rehband 7mm Rx knee sleeves.

Total for these: a good amount, lmfao

But these are two pieces of my gear that I have to replace. Next purchase will be the original (red) slingshot. After that I hope to have a bit of cash put aside to get a pair of oly shoes that aren't too big for me. Maybe some knee wraps, ammonia caps, 2XL hoodies ... beanies ... deadlift socks ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Do wrist wraps lose their effectiveness after a while then? Jeez, I better start putting regular amounts away to renew all these things!

Good squats. You have an impressively wide stance. I don't look forward to bringing back paused squatting in my sessions.

    Thanks B!

Wade and I had a breakthrough with the stance, and it is what you see today. I said something about an epiphany, and he just said "tada".

Interesting philosophy! I tend to do a lot of reading and research for things that I've never come across at the job, so I suppose I touch on that part already?

Then you should post more :P

That's the plan, actually. We have ... 3 or 4 large monthly payments that are ending in ~3 years, which means I'll be able to start getting stuff into the garage. Have to build a shed in the back yard, first, though.

We're getting there. I'd love to write down everything that happened in the beginning to have us where we are right now, but we're getting there. One thing at a time.

I actually, FINALLY, placed an order this morning for a new pair of Titan Signature Gold wrist wraps, and will be ordering a pair of Rehbands, too.

Oh, really? I was under the impression that was the way to go, though? Maybe it's different up here in Quebec.

Or, maybe the ladies locker room is really the strip club that's next door to my gym?

    I hope so
    Hm. Good point, good point.

I'll have to get a pic of it, but there's a window that's really badly placed (the building used to be a car dealership), and would reflect in on the women's locker room. Creep city!

    Notes!
    • Takeaways: my upper back needs to stay tight more often. I need to have more pace. I need to stop becoming loose.
    • Background to this: Saturday we had our oldest's friends over for a birthday party, along with Isa's family. Things were fine, until the oldest (12 on the 26th) decided to go FULL HAM on candy.
    • 2am ... Cue the vomit comet. For. 8. hours. Poor girl, but Isa and I got zero sleep. I was debating going to the gym because of this, but decided to hit it up anyways.
