Losing fat and toning without weight loss.

so it's a pretty simple question can i slim down or tone up should i say by adding muscle, by adding muscle i mean maintaining my current weight by keeping calories the same but increasing my workout load, more intensity heavier weights, more cardio. what effect will this have? can you actually shrink your waist? by doing this?

Unless you are a noob lifter you won't be able to gain much muscle while on a cut. Lift heavy, maintain as much strength as you can while cutting fat. No you can't gain as much muscle as you lose fat at the same time. Losing fat is easier then gaining muscle.

pretty much, but not bulk up. basically even it out, while make my body tighter. i have heard this can happen. what body fat range would a person be able to pull this off at? i do believe if u are way too high in fat you must lose weight but what if i got to 15% then just maintained and worked my butt off?

What is so important about staying a certain number on the scale? Do you compete in a sport with weight classes?

I highly doubt you'd look good at 150. You'd be a twig. We cannot say what weight is good for you. We don't know what you look like, we don't know your LBM. If I had to guess 170-180 would be good but depends on if you have a lot of muscle or now. Could be higher.

i think my body fat is about 15% now and i am 207lbs currently. is 15% low enough to see good definition if i work out harder?
