I love ThrusT. I swear by it. As my PT progresses I am going to be saving up the $$ to get me another run of it.

The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals.
Tabata score is the least number of reps performed in any of the eight intervals. Unit for the row is "calories".

Lots of squatting this week but legs feel great. I know this is some weak sauce here, but it's slowing going up.

Somedays I am still pretty sore but with the amount of squats I have had this week i expected it to be pretty bad but amazingly it's not. Maybe I can attribute that to ThrusT. It can be pretty hard to judge strength gains while training with CrossFit but i did set a pr on back squats yesterday, so in a sence it is working. SLEEP- I finally started telling th effect in sleep a little over a week in. The last 3 nights especially, i have had better sleep and wake up feeling more rested.

The sleep is the biggest thing for me so far as well. I may not get a full 8 hours, but I feel pretty rested! I'm never sore, but I squat three times a weak now and my weights aren't nearly as high!

I'll be happy with squat once I can hit 300 again I didn't squat for the longest time because of my knee.(torn ACL)

I myself don't sleep much or very well but when I am using ThrusT, what sleep I do get IS amazing.

5 Chest to bar Pull-ups
10 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball 10 ft target
15 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood (55 lbs)
I was shooting for 10 rounds and fell short. I'm happy with what I got. I had to workout solo today so it can be hard to push yourself a little harder sometimes.

This one doesn't sound bad but it was murder! The last time I did this wod was 3/12/2012 with 16 mins 59 secs, so a major improvement.

Some great workouts in here, man I've been curious about Crossfit myself. My gym is not conducive to it, though I've also heard it can be expensive to do (paying for coaches), is this true?

Yeah a lot of chain gyms won't allow crossfit done in their gyms. Yes it can be very expensive! If my gym (small family owned gym) didnt allow us to do it, I could not afford to go toan affiliated crossfit gym..looking at $100+ for a month membership rediculous.

Well I didn't have the first great work out of the year that I wanted....I had a pretty decent workout going until I got 3 reps into the snatches. On the fourth one I didn't have my weight balanced and my knee buckled! So I was done 10:30 in. It pretty much helped me decide that I will get the ball rolling for ACL reconstructive surgery around July. It will set me back but it needs to be done. The knee buckling us nothing new to me so I'm going to get back on the gym today and done body weight exercises and maybe some running, my knee isn't too stiff or swollen today and I have full range of motion still. The last time this happened was around may 15, I rested then put my knee brace on and ran 5.9 miles for the spartan sprint on may 19! It's such a bad feeling and a downer when indent get to finish a workout because of my knee, it's rare but it kills me to know it's holding me back.

Sorry to hear about the knee Take care of it and if the surgery is still needed, don't wait too long. I know it may sux but should make you better in the long run.

Thanks, I have waited too long already, it is a 10'year old injury and will require surgery.
