it's bloody demotivating that's what it is aiming to be a -90kg athlete myself next season and i'm NOWHERE near that size... my skeleton is made of lead it seems

You're right, I looked it up! Apparently (an unconfirmed source known as "Google") he weighed aroung 100Kg in 1991. So there's still hope that you'll become the GOAT, TTimmermann!

I'm glad you looked into that because I knew it couldn't be right. In fact, I don't think Ronnie has ever competed below the heavyweight class, not even at his first contest. At the 1991 Nationals, he placed 4th as a heavyweight, weighing around 212 lbs. Later that year, they sent him to the Universe competition because he not only did well, but they were confident that he could pass the drug test.

People always have their doubts about how that could be possible, but to me that says a lot. It would have been a huge risk, and somewhat of an embarrassment, on our country's behalf to send someone who was questionable and likely to fail. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it?

Ronnies early physique was amazing, totally my preference. He had such a small waist and terrific v-taper. When he became a mass freak later on his waist and gut both grew as well.
