She seems like a good kid who is very aware of the situation she is in and is surprisingly upbeat about it. If the issue is how young she is I don't see a problem. You don't need to hit puberty to know you are a boy or a girl. She was born with boy parts but never felt like a boy. I'm just glad her parents had the sense to focus on what they could do to support her instead of sending her to some camp to be beaten with Bibles.

I agree. I don't remember this ever being a significant problem before and now its seems to be growing. I don't get it it. The thing that is disturbing is somehow this child knew at a very young age that he wanted or was suppose to be a girl and the parents encouraged this line of thinking. I'd have to seem some data or medical history to back up these claims.

Gender Identity Disorder is 'allegedly' a real thing. If I had a boy, and my boy told me thousands of times over the course of several years that he was a girl despite me persisting that he was a boy, I'd question that.
I sure as hell wouldn't groom a kid to be the opposite gender of what they were born though.Member of NRA, GOA, SAF, TSRA, and CCRKBA (U.S. gun lobbies). Also a member of the Libertarian Party and Schiff Premium.

I don't get this stuff.
Gender is not a social construct it is an anatomical one. Why should we acknowledge him as a female if she has a penis? I mean can you even start gender re-assignment therapy/surgery that young?
I don't know much about sex change operations but it would seem to me that they are superficial. I mean take as much estrogen as you want, you'll still have male genitalia as a male. Take steroids as a female and you'll only get a bigger clit, you'll never truly have male genitalia (at least I don't think).
I like to think of myself as an open-minded person and I think it's a great injustice that gay people aren't allowed to marry, but this post-modernism stuff is just a little bit too much for me.

Does it have a penis or vagina?
So If a m2f transgender undergoes a sex change operation will it ever have a true vagina? Will she/he be able to give birth? Will she/he get periods etc?
I know I sound like some backwood hick, but I'm ignorant about a lot of this.
And how the **** does it say female on his birth certificate?

Will not be able to give birth/have periods. They will have a pseudo-vagina.

We don't have any conclusive findings telling us that Gender Identity Disorder can be treated. We're not even sure what causes it exactly.
You can't give a pre-puberty kid a full-sized dosage of hormones. The effects could be extreme.
Also if your kid had Gender Identity Disorder, you'd know. It isn't just some phase like pretending you're a cat and meowing the sht out of your parents.Member of NRA, GOA, SAF, TSRA, and CCRKBA (U.S. gun lobbies). Also a member of the Libertarian Party and Schiff Premium.

So far it would seem that if you let them change genders, they grow up happy with their new gender.
And so far I haven't heard of any cases being successfully handled from a mental aspect. In fact, a lot of these people with Gender Identity Disorder that haven't changed genders, do see therapists, but remain unhappy. Eventually they might undergo transgender therapy on their own accord, which happens quite often.
So the parents of kids with Gender Identity Disorder have to decide for themselves, what do I want my kid to be more than anything else? It's not surprising that a lot of parents choose 'happy.'Member of NRA, GOA, SAF, TSRA, and CCRKBA (U.S. gun lobbies). Also a member of the Libertarian Party and Schiff Premium.

I'm sorry I don't care about people's feelings (at least not that much). That kid is objectively a male because it has a penis, and I think it's strange to refer to him as a female.
Go ahead wear dresses, play in dollhouses, it doesn't bother me. But don't refer to that kid as a female when he is clearly a male. Don't let him play girl's sports or go to the womens locker-room because he THINKS he's a female.
