I'm thinking about quitting bodybuilding and doing cardio...

I've been bodybuilding for a while now and have gained alot of solid muscle, however i still have lots of fat (double chin, belly etc) so i was thinking about quitting bodybuilding for like 3 months in which i will do cardio 4 times a week along with a healthy diet.
I understand i'll lose muscle mass but i'll lose the fat which I NEED to get rid of aswell.

Any thought/advice would be greaty appreciated thank you.

done that, quit body building before then resumed it

    honestly it ain't worth "quiting"
I mean think of the benefits

Perhaps consider a break from bb?? Like a week
    and fix your diet up
your not losing fat, cause your not in a deficit long enough

Bodybuilding will burn more fat period. Cardio simply helps aswell. Make sure you are in a calorie deficit.
When you wake up DONT eat, go for a fast walk/SLOW job in the morning to burn fat. After training or on off days go for HIIT running. Lift Heavy 8-12 reps to burn more calories, reduce rest time to keep heart rate up to burn more fat. Healthy diet means **** all. You must eat LESS calories than what you burn each day (look up online).
