Real talk doe, there is legit no reason to train with the aim of becoming really strong, you could increase the weight by 2.5lbs and probably still see results. I just like picking heavy **** up nowadays because my interests lie in powerlifting and rugby. Also strength routines are balls for size, I saw more progress from a couple months last year body wise when I worked in varied rep ranges with 'hypertrophy' in mind on an upper lower split than I have through this this year, although I'm significantly stronger now.
Inb4 its my diet that did this
Nope, I eat the same, count my calories erryday, eat accordingly for my goals.Best lifts to date/goals by July 2013 (ALL RAW)

Kaos or Derek:
Q: When you guys bench press(u both are bodybuilders) do you guys lockout on your bench press or do about 3/4 reps?
I found that when i lockout on db shoulder press my triceps go first. Last workout i did 1/2 reps and my shoulders were on phucking fire, and my triceps didn't even hurt. Wondering if the same can be done with all my chest exercises?
thx guys

You will recruit more of the target muscle on Pressing movements if you don't lockout, this is true. Do I do it? Nah, I always lockout because I always fail at lockout, never on the chest or midway. Also, the movements that this applies to are usually power movements(Bench Press,Military Press), so I'm looking to just do full reps with lots of force production while keeping the rep range moderately high around 8 down to 6. In theory, it probably is better to not lockout, but how significant the difference would be is questionable. I'm sure it does make a difference, so yeah if you want to do that, then do that. I use the Dumbbell Benching,Flyes,Dips, and Cables for the TuT(Time under tension) and Hypertrophy/Isolation emphasis anyways though.
Smallest things could make a difference I guess, but it's up to you. I don't see what's wrong with doing it or not doing it idk. There are some movements you shouldn't always lockout on simply due to the fact that you could snap some **** up like Skullcrushers though.

Wide Grip = more pectorals ......
AKA Serge Nubret, he gripped the bar Collar-to-collar (100% srs) and had some of the best pectoral development in the history of bodybuilding.
ka0s is also being serious, the weight you use drops SIGNIFICANTLY and you will for once feel it mostly in your pecs instead of triceps lml

Confirmed. Serge Nubret used between 185 - 225 pounds maximum in all his years of bench press training. However, his training style was INSANE and nobody to this day has really used it. He did about 7 sets per exercises( 7 WORKING SETS!!! ) with very light weight, with VERY low rest time. We're talking 30-45 seconds...and performing about 12 reps a set or something like that.Typically used about 200 pounds.
However when he tried, his Max Bench Press was HIGHER THAN Arnold's .
He did a ~500 pound Bench Press on camera; there is a picture of it as well!!! Even the Terminator couldn't do that =p (he could do about 475)

He was one in a million dude. NOBODY ELSE has done that. For his one way of training, there are 10,000,000 others that never did that. I'm not going to lie though, I DID DO HIS ROUTINE FOR ~1 month or less and exploded on it. But it was probably mostly just a huge pump of glycogen that stored throughout my body. The soreness was insane.... I remember sitting in my room doing 1,000 situps a night or something, lmao. Also the poundages you use are ridiculous. We're talking 40 pounds for dumbbell bench.. a plate or less on bench...1 plate or so on squats, 2 pound dumbbells for lateral raises... lol...
The other problem is since he was drinking Cranberries, that it makes the training effect different than what somebody who doesn't take cranberry. You know as well as I ...that cranberry will do an excellent job of blowing up muscles with glycogen.
