All this random acts of kindness chit creeps me out. It all started off on Reddit. Leaving sad ass little notes around telling people how great they were. e.g "Look I'm a postman and I put these notes of encouragement through everyone's door". BRB socially awkward auschwitz mode creeper who just wants human contact.

Fair enough, saving a dogs life and helping people genuinely is the essence of humanity. But this "kindness for kindness sake" really grinds my gears and creeps me out. Especially wen its betas doing it.

This. I'm also repping anyone who donates - money, toys, their time etc.

Every time I go to one of the stores with a bin, I make a point to buy something to put in it. whether it is toys for tots, School supplies, or canned goods, if the bin is clearly marked in the front I will drop something in.

We were the families who got that stuff when I was a kid. So now that I can afford it, I am paying if forward.

After Beyondwonderland in March i found an asian kids wallet. I mailed it to the address on his CA ID as his University ID had no Address . He had a condom in the wallet, therefore i included a note saying " looks like you did get lucky afterall"

My mom is a special education teacher for a public middle school. Since i was 16, i volunteer at a Special Needs camp. Its always sad to see these kids who are handicapped having the time of their lives when i slide with them on a water slide, or take them out on the lake in an intertube, or just playing a video game with them EVEN though most of them come from poor families. So because of this, the camp only accepts donations and we do fundraisers ever year so the kids dont have to pay.

you are being negative, i do understand your logic though. its random acts of kindness, not being a hero

you can make someones day with a small gesture. ever have a pretty girl smile at you and you feel good for a while? or how about knowing that the guy before you paid for your meal? if though the gestures are small its the magnitude that counts.
