The ifbb didn't favor him for what ever reasons. He got shafted a couple of times and just ultimately disappeared.

Well, a lot of the athletes who defected from the IFBB by joining Vince McMahon's WBF, had a very difficult time finding success after that federation dissolved. He was a beast, but competed at a time when only top 5 got real media coverage. Flex, Shawn, Levrone, Dorian and others got most of the magazine covers and was pre internet. Just slipped through the cracks.

One of the reasons is he is awesome there by himself but on stage he didnt look as impressive compared to tohers and he lacked width which is very evident in his back poses. nevertheless he didn't deserve the bottom placings he got.

In terms of potential: Coleman>Baker>Levrone. But he pissed the IFBB and it all went down for him, just like Oliva, R. Robinson, Nubret, Priest etc.

Was one of my favourites of all time.
He's kind of like Dillet in my opinion (also one of my fav pros ever).
Their physique was one of the most incredible ever to look at. But just never got the recognition they potentially could have, and even more so there just aren't enough photos of videos of them around.
And it's not like they're the only ones to fall victim to this. But both were really fantastic bodybuilders that could have been elite in Olympia placings.
