Hi guys, Please chk if my TEE is correct. ok here it goes...
my current weight= 81 kgs
my height= 178 cms
my age= 22
I used Mifflin St-Jeor's formula to calculate my BMR as I dont know my BF % exacly
BMR = [9.99 x weight (kg)] + [6.25 x height (cm)] - [4.92 x age (years)] + 5
BMR = (9.99 * 81) + (6.25 * 178) - (4.92 * 22) + 5
BMR = 1818.45
Total Requirement= BMR * Activity factor
Total Requirement= 1818.45 * 1.5
Total Requirement= 2727.675
TEE= Total Requirement- 20% of Total requirement
So this means I should maintain 2182.255 calories a day inorder to lose weight right? waiting for ur replies guys. thanks.
