Interdasting.
Question: why the 'leg-split' when doing pushups off the dumbbells and why the plate raise to each side after the squat? (Okay, two questions, but am genuinely interested)."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com

Intrinsic muscle training.
You know, for years I did forward lunges. Then a friend (another coach) said "do them in reverse". I completely collapsed. It was then I new odd exercises and unstable motions helped the bigger movements.
Old school lifters would do farmer carries with two different weights in each hand. They would hold a dumbbell over head with the right hand and a 50lb plate waist level and walk up stairs.
Well, long story short, I am revisiting all the old school methods and it is working.

Doug, thanks for the reply. Twists on training are always good if they're productive. No probs whatsoever. Good stuff!

Congrats to you trying to start a new business!! If you have clients coming over to your house, you might want them signing a "hold harmless" agreement incase someone twists an ankle or blew out a knee. Cover your azz, doesn't matter how nice they are or if you have been friends for years get a little legal advice and have the clients sign it!!

It's called a bear crawl. It's mainly used for coordination and general conditioning. It's not that great on it's own unless its for a long distance so I usually will throw it in w/some other stuff. Like I'll have someone start off with 5 heavy dumbell snatches per arm then the bear crawl for about 20 yards and then a quarter mil run... and i'll have them repeat that for a total of 5 rounds. I usually have most of my folks do some some strength work before we do any of this condition ing stuff anyway so if I really want to be an assh0le I'll have them do 5x5 squats and 3x5 bench for the first half of the workout then something like this.
Sept of Baelor was an inside job. Wildfire can't melt stone masonry.

It's funny how size is a relative thing. I'm on a bit of a cut, so I'm down to about 250. Typically, I walk around at 6'4" and 265lbs. I hear "big guy, big man," whatever about 4 times everyday.
Then, I look at pro football linemen, guys your size, and I realize, once again, how size is relative!
Nice vid. You move well at your height, age, and 3 bills plus. Congrats.Envy is ignorance. Imitation is suicide.

Man...You guys and gals are the best! Thankyou for all the compliments. I think that is why I love coming here. So much energy, positive motivation and realism.
It will not let me give any more reps to those that pipped in. So I will revisit on recharge.
@keltron
I will be posting many more videos over the next two months with all kinds of crazy lifts. We have some cool stuff ahead.
When the editors are done I will post each video here. One of them, is of me doing boxing drills with 35lb dumbbells...lol
Anyway, thanks again. My office is in Cortland Ohio for anyone who lives close.

Hey Brother,
Its a Bear Crawl like Keltron explained well. We do 3 rounds around gym as well as crab crawls (3 rounds) to help warm up shoulders for overhead workout.
Partner wheel barrels are also a way we warm up our arms and shoulders. Have your athlete do 10 pushups at the end of each round while his feet are held in the partner position. They crush the shoulders, feel vary unstable, and prepare the upper torso for dynamic lifts.
Thanks,
Big D
