No.
might have been semi valid point.. if gsp hadn't been dodging the fight and scared years before he injured himself.

Noone in his shoes right now that had a brain in their head would jump into a fight with Anderson Silva. Whether it's been talked about for years or 5 minutes.

At first i was like hell yeah but after watching the bendo fight i was like no thanks jeff. Lile bendo GSP is too bhff for Diaz. He will rag doll Diaz the whole match. But i can see a lot more striking in this fight since gsp is comfortable with his striking.

you cant be serious. gsp is not confortable with his striking. or he would quit taking people down. and use his striking abilities

GSPs striking is excellent but against Kos and Jake his striking was abysmal (inb4 oh but Koschecks eye)

My point being against kos, GSP fought a guy with one eye for almost 25 mins and never upped the pressure with his strikes to look for the finish. Against K1 Jake, GSPs striking was truly pathetic, kept going for that ridiculous over hand right (a technique he doesnt usually throw) and for some reason he got his face a little busted by Jakes strikes.

He uses both. He strikes with guys a lot actually. Probably the best guy at using strikes to set up his takedowns.
His striking game is diverse too while Diaz just boxes.

So Hendriks KOs Jon ****ing Fitch who probably is the second best WW, beats Kos then KOs Kampmann and gets leapfrogged by Diaz coming off a loss, a good win over an undersized Penn and a bunch of guys in Strikeforce.

Hendricks is geting shafted.
Hendricks is actually a bigger danger to GSP than diaz............GSP would still beat Hendricks..........but Hendrick has a chance at KOing GSP (dat H-bomb 2.0) and is at least a good wrestler.
Diaz has no where near the punching power......and no wrestling skill what so ever................and happens to be going against captian dry hump.
Diaz, Ceaser Gracie, Dana, GSP, UFC all get big paydays...........gsp keeps his title.............Hendricks gets shafted.

Hendricks will not match GSP's wrestling
I think Diaz comes in with a real game plan if he accepts the fight, esp after seeing nate get Bendo'wned

Hendricks can't match GSP's wrestling, but he maybe able to keep the fighting standing long enough to get a flash KO on GSP. I'm sure Hendricks has a decent sprawl and would be able to defend some of the takedowns. Plus, his power comes from short punches which gives him an advantage when GSP goes for the takedown.
If you look at Hendricks, he is really one of the first "complete" fighters GSP would have actually fought besides Condit. Guys like Shields, Koscheck, Alves, or Hardy are all specialist who are really good in one area, and just decent in all the others. Hendricks is pretty good in all areas, we just need to see his scrambling abilities from his back.

Diaz specialises in more than one area as well. Ya feel me.

But he's missing the key element you need to beat GSP with....wrestling.

I see what youre saying but I don't think hendricks is that complete of a fighter. Imo hes similar to kosh, both good wrestlers with ko ability on their strong side. I think kosh is a little better wrestler and hendricks has more power but from a technical stand point hendricks striking isnt all that.
you wanna know how i did it, this is how, i never saved anything for the swim back.

I know you've repped me a couple times so I'm sorry for chitting on you, but this is one of the dumbest things I've read in this section.
Alves who's 2-4 in his last 6 fights is higher up than Ellenberger who's 5-1 in his last 6? Ellenberger got shafted against Kampmann, it should have been Juggernaut-Hendricks for the next shot.
Edit: I realize that's unfair to Alves because all his losses came against top 5ish except for Rick Story. But no way IMO is he above Ellenberger.
