Been years since I have looked into pre workout supplements. I am looking for suggestions on what you guys suggest? Something that avoids jitters or hard crashes.

well my personal recommendation for a pre-workout would be AAEFX's KOTIC. i've been using this product for over 2 years now and absolutely love it. i wouldnt trade it for any other out there. i've tried a few of the new pwo's out now and honestly didnt really enjoy the feeling of my heart about to pop out of my chest, too much discomfort for me. one scoop of kotic gives me all the energy, focus and pump needed to get through my entire workout and best of all, no crash afterwards. so if you're in the market for a new pwo, try some KOTIC, you'll love it.

I agree with most of the ones listed on this page, except for C4. Assault is another one that I would add. You can purchase an 8 serving size trial tub to try it out.

Be wary of caffeine content, but other than that, every PWO is generally the same. Though I will say that N.O. explode 2.0 fruit punch doesn't taste very good at all.

Really depends...a lot of pre-workouts have caffeine in them, and some people experiment crashes from that. A lot of that also has to do with how much caffeine you can tolerate without crashing. I really enjoy K-OTIC, but it does have 300 mg in it. I generally take around half a scoop.
If you don't do well with caffeine, I'd just buy some beta alanine and cit. malateTeam Beyond Fitness - http://********.com/beyondfitnessofficial

Take a look at Formutech Nutrition's Volatile. It is not high stim but does have enough caffeine to get you going. You will have excellent focus, pumps and gains on it. There are several logs just finished and a few ongoing that may give you a better idea of it.

BB.com is running a sick deal right now where you can grab Animal Rage packs (not powder) for only $1.00
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/animal-rage.html
Animal Rage is strong and no crashes, it's the only pre-workout that has a sustained energy complex so not only does it hit hard it lasts and there is no crashFree Agent
