As always, I gotta give credit where it's due and give a big THANK YOU to VaughnTrue and the iForce team for selecting me for this log.
I've used products in the past that promise to help with sleep as other hormone levels rise. But I've never used one with the primary purpose of recovery while sleeping...this is gonna be a fun ride! Sleep is always the component of lifting that I can't seem to get right. I either get to bed too late, or I sleep like crap when I get to bed early.
Speaking off, it's 10:00pm and I took Lights out about 45 minutes ago. Time to hit the sack and let you guys know what happens tomorrow, I've got a date with the squat rack at 5:30am...nighty-night...

Let me give a little background on my current training protocol. I'm in my last 3 week cycle of a modified Y3T protocol. I'm hitting my lagging chest twice a week and have done moderately well over the past couple of months. Taking a break the week of Xmas, and then starting another 9 weeks of Y3T before cutting in the spring. I'm bulking and taking in 3500-4000 calories a day. Being the holidays, my diet isn't currently the best, but I'm going to back off the junk food after New Years. I'm also planning on a stim break in January, just because.
My 1st experience with Lights Out wasn't quite what I was expecting. Took 1 cap and was falling asleep hard (dropping my Kindle on my face hard) by 10:30. But, by 12:45, I started waking up every couple of hours. The funny thing is, I felt great this morning. It feels like I rested, but I distinctly remember not sleeping very well. Could've just been excitement over trying something new, although I did have similar experience logging a test booster back in the summer. I need to compare ingredients and see if there are any similarities.
But, like I said, I did wake up feeling good and tore it up in the gym this morning--
12/6

Squats: 2x12x45
Hack Squats: 4x6x500 (PR!)

Superset:
DB two-handed swing: 4x8x65
Stiff Legged Deadlifts--4x8x225lbs

Tomorrow is my second chest day, I think it's gonna be a good one!I <3 Carbs

Here is my wus workout from yesterday. Not real pleased, but then again, I didn't take LiGHts Out Sunday night. I'm only dosing nights that I lift.
12/10
Wide-Grip Lat Pulldown: 3x13x70lbs
Wide-Grip Lat Pulldown: 3x13x190lbs
Wide-grip T-Bar Row: 2x13x145lbs 1x13x135
Rack Pull: 3x13x315
EZ Bar Curl: 1x13x30lbs
EZ Bar Cable Curl: 3x13x72
I dosed 1 cap last night at around 9:30. Started reading in bed at 9:40 and didn't get real sleepy until an hour later. I did wake up a couple of times through the night, but damned if I didn't feel rested when I got up at 4:45. This rested feeling is strange to me...I like it!
Damage Report--
12/11
Pec Deck--3x13x95
Pec Deck--3x13x195
Smith Incline--2x13x225
Superset:
Incline Flyes--3x13x35
EZ Curl--2x13x60 1x13x80 (making up for yesterday's poor gun show)
Decline Press--3x13x175
Standing DB Tri Ext--1x13x70 2x13x65
Reverse Grip Cable Ext--2x13x108 1x13x82
Question for the Reps--Does LiGHts Out work better the longer that it's in your system? Reason I'm asking is because I'm planning a break the week of Christmas and am not planning on taking the product during that period. But, if it needs to "build up" in my body, I don't want to stop taking it--knowhutimean?Last edited by jalfrey; 12-12-2012 at 06:47 PM.

well.......lights out can work without taking it regularly. the past month, i havent taken it daily, more or less on nights where i feel like i really need a good nights rest.
however, you could be missing out on some of the ldopa/humanofort benefits, as those will show a bit more with extended usegoodbros, always and forever.

Didn't take a dose Sunday night and my sleep reflected it. I did take it last night after the following workout however--
12/17--
Low pulley high row: 3x13x85lbs Superset:
Low pulley row: 2x16x156lbs (PR)
Wide-grip pulldowns: 2x16x144lbs
Superset:
Wide Grip T-bar row: 2x15x120lbs (PR)
Straight-arm pulldowns: 2x16x65lbs
Superset:
Leverage high row: 2x16x220lbs (PR)
Inverted Rows: 2x16xBW
EZ bar Curls: 2x15x40lbs
DB Curls: 1x16x25, 30, 35, 40, 35, 30
DB Hammer Curls:3x16x35lbs
Aside from some tightness, my back feels great! I also can't believe how solidly I'm sleeping with LiGHts Out. I honestly haven't used a product that affects my hormone levels that is also helping me sleep like this! After taking it last night I wore out my chest doing the following--
12/18
DB incline press: 3x13x35lbs
Incline Smith machine press: 3 triple drop sets--3x14x215lbs/
3x14x195lbs/3x14x175lbs
Cable Crossovers: 3 drop sets--1x14x35lbs/1x14x30lbs/1x15x25lbs
Overhead tricep extensions: 2x16x50lbs 1x16x55lbs
Wide-Grip tricep pressdown: 2x16x156lbs 1x16x144lbs
Looking forward to going to bed tonight!I <3 Carbs

I haven't been sleeping well the past couple of nights. I think it's due to mine being sore with the new training routine. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to report on with LiGHts Out. Here are my lifts for the past couple of days that have made me so sore...
12/31
Leg Press--50x388, 40x478, 30x568, 20x58, 10x748. Then all that in reverse!
Calf Press--40x388, 30x478 and then I punked out. I tried to push more, but my arches were killing me...
Decline crunch--2x12, 3x8 with 20lbs
1/1
Superset
DB Bench--30x35, 20x45, 10x55, 6x65, 6x75 and then reversed.
Underhand Row (elbows tucked in)--30x70, 20x90, 10x110, 6x130, 6x150 and then again in reverse.
Superset
DB Incline--same weights and rep scheme
Overhand Row (elbows flared)--same weights and rep scheme.
Pec Deck--30x100, 20x115, 10x130, 6x145, 6x145 and reverse...
1/3
Superset
Cable Curls: 40x48, 30x60, 20x72, 10x84, 6x96, 6x108
Overhead Cable Ext:40x48, 30x60, 20x72, 10x84, 6x96, 6x108
Superset
EZ Bar Curls: 6x90, 6x80, 10x70, 20x60, 30x50, 40x40
Skull Crushers: 6x90, 6x80, 10x70, 20x60, 30x50, 25x40 (dude, I was fried...)
Hanging leg Raises: 3x12 2x10
Please if there are any questions, ask!I <3 Carbs

Haven't logged in this thread in a while as VaughnTrue also picked me to run an iForce Testabolan v2 log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=150745053
My workouts are the same obviously, so I'll just update this weekly or so. I'm still dosing 1 LiGHts Out about 30-60 minutes before bed. For the most part, I'm still enjoying great sleep. No grogginess in the mornings either. This is translating to good recovery and I'm hoping to some gains while performing DTP.I <3 Carbs
