Hahaha you don't have to try toooo many frog jumps. But good on you for trying it out to see if it helps.
Whatever is going on with your back you back want to avoid cleans and deads for a few days and just do some high rep good mornings and extensions to flush some blood in there and heal up.
Looks like a strong session overall though.
And you post at the strangest times of the night.
Night at the Granville club scene with all the chachis make you want to come home and drink hard and post on BB.com?
Lifting heavy things and makin' movies.

It's sort of in a weird spot... around the bottom of my shoulder blade? No cleans or DL's today for sure. Hoping I'm better for monday's workshop!!
Substitute "drink hard" with "sober up and fall asleep" and yes, yes it does. Doesn't everyone come home from the bar and think "hey, I should post tonight's workout and then misc till I pass out"??

I would never recommend drunk miscing. It's sorta like waiting until last call at the bar and going home with the first guy/girl who approaches you.
You sound like the majority of Americans with your no ice skating and no hockey.

At least I tried to learn to skate. I'm a huge disappointment to my mother, she wanted me to be the next figure skating world champion. But it was not to be.

Oh, you weren't actually threatening me... well that's a nice change.
Lol. For the first one, I can see not wanting to try to re-balance that much weight on top of those little concave stands. And the some of the other racks look kinda flimsy so maybe if the base wasn't big enough you could knock them over by walking the weight back into the bars? You're right though, it's kinda weird. And really freaking annoying, who wants to take their plates on and off every time?

That's what I'm saying. Either it's their last set and they are done squatting. Or they have a coach or slave to put the bar back up for them.

Workshop Day

Back was in a lot of pain and to top it off I felt sick all day. So I stacked some extra-strength advil and C4 and went to the workshop anyway We ended up just working with the bars, and they had a women's bar too which was about a thousand times easier to handle - I could hook grip it properly and everything.
The coach there was Dieter Stamm, who's fairly well-known in Canada and has been coaching for over 30 years. I also met a provincially-ranked girl lifter who trains with Christine Girard. This chick thinks I have actual potential and is coming to my gym on Wednesday to watch me lift, oh lawd

Thanks! Not as much as I'd hoped, since most of the people there had obviously never even done these lifts before. The real payoff though I think is that my skillz, such as they are, somehow impressed people enough that there's some interest in what I can do and I may end up with a legit coach and team as a result.
