The courses are "legit". They are, however, more expensive in a one shot payment at around £3,000 when I checked but the course guarantees you a placement within a mid-range, popular, gym. Be careful though because even though you're a qualified personal trainer after that 6 weeks, you are then dumped on your own in that gym to figure out how to get clients over the other trainers in the gym and unless you have some decent cash behind you as a safety net you could end up in some serious trouble financially.

That's the thing I'm not based in the UK, therefore the Fast Track would be ideal as it would minimize the accommodation expenses. And I also prefer face to face opposed to long distance or a blend of both. It does sound quite pricey @ 3k but considering it's the only one I found which certifies you directly as a PT from nothing in such a short time I guess it's quite worth it.
I would also not benefit from the "placement in a popular gym" as I do not intend to currently pursue it as a career at the moment but rather something I would benefit from myself and the occasional friend who would ask for help. As I went along with my own personal progression in my personal fitness I learnt to love more and more nutrition & training. I therefore believe that going for a PT course & cert is a good start to get a solid base where to start from to then keep learning & learning.
Given my reasons I could potentially do it within my own time by myself without money or certs involved, but there is so much good stuff on the web as there is **** so getting recommendations on what to do and how from random people would be rather unwise I believe especially considering how many times I have fallen for broscience.Veni Vidi Vici.

Looked into it myself, decided to do it in parts level 2 then level 3 next year and I'm glad i did, theres no way i could take in more in 6 weeks for a pt one than i am atm for level 2. Also through the ymca i do the pt in 3 parts which means i get to pay it parts and works out a lot cheaper.
Only thing is its longer but i would rather take my time and learn than rush through everything and try pass itforever cutting crew.
