"Face on Fire" from Beta-Alanine?

After jumping on the BOGO Juggernaut preworkout, im going to be returning it. It gives me a queesy, uneasy feeling as well as my face feeling like its going to catch fire. Ive been told that this is due to the beta alanine? If this is the case, will all pre WO with beta alanine give this feeling? I went through a tub of MP assault with none of those symptoms/experiences. SAN fierce domination is a highly rated and recommended pre that is on my list. But im seeing that it contains beta alanine as well. Is there anyway to get samples? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

This would vary from product to product depending on how much BA is in each serving.

that makes sense, as well as on an individual basis too. I think thats why there is such a wide variety of preWO that people recommend. One may work well with one person and another with someone else etc. Thats the tough part, not knowing how your body is going to react without trying it.

Have the exact same effect from juggernaut... Feels ok, tells me it's working then when I start lifting all goes away, defiantly one of the better pwo's I've had ( had a **** load of different types now) had a sample of C4 yesterday..... Very nice! No itch either

Yeah...

I dunno why...but this happens with me when i change my pwo.

I'm using animal rage(only itch my arms), and the days i take coffee before workout, and change my pwo to Body Octane on that day, my face comes on fire too.

Maybe i will give it another try. I talked to customer service here (bodybuilding.com) and they were more than happy to for me returning it. I still have half of a container left, so could try again. Then again trying another is a great option too. Just have to try to get some samples. Is there an easier way than looking at reps posts for a link to free samples? I made a quick list of about 10 that i would like to try before i purchased.

Just an personal opinion: Take it and run to the gym.

When you're exercising, you won't feel the "face-burning", so, take, go to gym, walk on a treadmill(don't run), white waiting to the Juggernaut 'hit you up' and see if it will be ok.

problem is i work out at home. I either take it when i get home from work, or take it on my way home so i can work out right when i get home. BB.com is willing to take it back. whether i get a full refund im not sure. waiting to hear back. I would love to go to Hemavol (which is highly regarded). But if i get a credit through bb.com hemavol isnt available yet. At that point i may go to san fierce domination. Im trying to get as many samples to try as possible.

If BB.com will only take back the unopened container i may give the Juggernaut a try again....hate wasting money and product. Thanks for all the help guys.

My suggestion was only to elevate the blood-flow to minimize the "face-burning" : )

It may happen with any High-Dosed BA product.

When i take animal rage and wait about 30-45 minutes, i feel this. But when i take, and elevate blood flow 15-30 min after taking it(walking, etc), the side-effect is minimized(for me is, for you dunno ;s).

The feeling has NEVER gone away for me. My body has never "adjusted" to it, my body has never adapted to being "used" to it ... so trust me, I know where your coming from.

The BA I take now (daily) is in my multivitamin (Anavite by Gaspari) and I found that if I dose it at 2/2/2 going breakfast/lunch/dinner then I'm fine. I don't know why, but my body is alright with this. Even when I tried dosing 3/3 ... BOOM ... insane itching, face burning, etc. It's weird how it works, but splitting the dose is the best, and sometimes only, option you have.

I really like the face,neck,and arm itching that the Beta A produces. I taked white flood with added BA just to pump up the affect.

that's not true for everyone. i know from personal experience.
